00:31It says here from Mojnarowski, Scotty, the Bulls were determined to find a playmaker
00:36to replace Alonzo Ball.
00:38Giddey will have the ball in his hands more in Chicago.
00:41Too many stars in OKC, wasn't having the ball enough.
00:44So Giddey to Chicago, Caruso to OKC.
00:47Two different kinds of players, right?
00:49One guy can deal and can shoot and can score and can pass and can drive.
00:55I mean, let's face it, Giddey can play.
00:58And then the other guy is just an absolute defensive savage.
01:04I think this guy Caruso is just an absolute, he's just an animal defensively.
01:14And you know, maybe they think that's what they sorely lack, you know, or you wonder
01:21even, I'll put it out there that, you know, this guy had a lot of problems this year with

01:28And they may not have been interested in the whole story of what went down.
01:33He got cleared of that stuff with the alleged, you know, dating a minor and all this other

01:40But maybe it didn't sit well with him.
01:42And that was their plan all along to get rid of him.

01:45I think he's a way better player than Alex Caruso is, but he doesn't play defense like

01:52And I think that that's the key, right?
01:54I think that when you start to think about what the Thunder have built, they've built
01:58a lot of really good young players who could score.
02:02I don't think we necessarily always correlate those guys to great defense, right?
02:06So you take one of those scorers who maybe wasn't as high on your list as what SGA does
02:11or Williams, both the Williams, et cetera, and you slide in a guy who's just going to
02:16be about D. I mean, Caruso don't care if he's, he don't care if he scores six points a night.
02:20He's going to do a lot of stuff for you out there.
02:23And I think that that's probably supplements the Thunder a little bit more than what Giddy
02:27was giving them.
02:28And, you know, a veteran leader, a defensive specialist leader, he's a, he is a guy that
02:34has been there, done that, and has been, you know, let's face it in LA, in Chicago, I think
02:42they regretted, they ruined the day they got rid of him in LA.
02:47They never, they tried to like sell you that Austin Reeves is this great, you know, hillbilly
02:53mamba, all this other nonsense.

02:57He's not that good.
02:58And I'll tell you what, I think that Caruso defensively was perfect on that team.

03:14And I think Shea Gilgis is unbelievable and just a star player, but I'm not sure he wants

03:29I think Caruso will take that over the minute he gets there.
