00:05It's been revealed that a dad and his 17 month old daughter died after the car
00:10they were traveling in crashed into a wall in a tree at 108 miles an hour.
00:14David Beckett, 50, had been driving around Hesketh Bank on February the 4th
00:19trying to get daughter Darcy Grace to sleep when the incident occurred. No
00:24alcohol or drugs were found in his system and he had been driving normally
00:28just prior to the accident. Since their death the community has raised more than
00:33£11,000 in memory and it's being donated to charity. In Blackpool the
00:40future of a listed Art Deco style pub is uncertain. The former Yates's Wine Lodge
00:45in South Promenade is starting to look derelict with smashed windows and
00:49rust marks down the walls. The pub has been closed since March 2022 and there
00:55is no evidence of activity at the site. In Lancaster police have arrested a 17
01:01year old boy after a man was assaulted at the city's bus station. The pensioner
01:06who's in his 70s was pushed over and received an injury to his neck. In Wigan
01:11a man is denied shining a laser at Greater Manchester Police's helicopter.
01:15Graham Lipshop, 39, of Knowsley Avenue, Goulbourne pleaded guilty to a series of
01:21motoring and drug offences but was denied dazzling helicopter pilot Captain Peter
01:25Delaney on November the 15th last year. In Burnley the old Reel Cinema has been
01:31demolished to make way for a new little supermarket. Reel has already relocated
01:36from the Manchester Road location to the new £23 million Pioneer Place
01:40leisure development. And the weather, in the northwest today it's going to be dry
01:45and bright across the region with highs of 18 degrees and be warned there's a
01:51very high level of pollen expected in the area.
