00:00Paul, are you taking more positives away from that and do you think it was a more than deserved point in the end?
00:06Yeah, I think I'm really pleased with the performance from start to finish.
00:11And then I think, listen, I think if we'd have come away with three points there, no one could begrudge us that.
00:18First half, we were really good with the ball, really good without the ball.
00:21Second half became a bit more of a war of attrition and we didn't get behind them as often as we would like to or keep the ball as long as we were alive.
00:28And Burnley didn't get in our box as often as they would have liked to.
00:32It had a much more derby feel to it and probably became a more difficult game to manage for the ref.
00:37Did you go in at half-time thinking we can go and win this game and then it was more of a grind second half?
00:42Yeah, definitely. We've come to a real good team.
00:46It's a tough place to come and being on the front foot and really taking the game to them, which is how we want to play every game.
00:53So, yeah, I think, like I said, I'm really pleased with the performance. I just wish we'd have got three.
00:57What have they said about the offside decision? Have you spoken to anyone about it?
01:02Only you guys. Everyone's told me it's onside, haven't they?
01:06Was it something you'd worked on as a team to slip a meal in like that?
01:10Yeah, that's what's frustrating. How hard you work and then they recognise it's on, set it up, deliver it.
01:18Yeah, at first, when I saw it, it's onside, when I saw it in live. But to be told it's not, it's disappointing.
01:24Disappointing for me, disappointing for them and the fans.
01:26Because, like I said, I think if that had gone in and it had not been reflected in the data, because it's a bad decision and things like that.
01:32But, yeah, if that would have gone in and we'd have got three points, I don't think anyone could be grudging us.
01:36I think you said proper derby. It was, wasn't it?
01:39The last 20 minutes it was tackles flying in. Were you quite pleased that they handled it because a decision could have been taken?
01:44Yeah, well a lot of the players, we had some yellows.
01:46They started to get some towards the end, but we had a couple carried over from the first half.
01:49Again, now it's so tough to manage that because you don't really know what you're going to get booked for.
01:56It's really tough. So, when you're trying to defend or trying to win a derby game like that and it's so competitive.
02:04If you're carrying a yellow now, you can see Ali McCann pulled out of a couple of things.
02:07Same with Ben, then towards the end, Hughes.
02:11So, I thought we managed that part of it and showed good experience there
02:15because it would have been easy for one of those yellows to come back and bite us in the second half.
02:19You brought Potts in today. Did you just want his legs in midfield on an occasion like this?
02:23Yeah, you can see we wanted to be aggressive and play the game in their half as much as we could.
02:28So, we wanted that energy and aggression to do that.
02:31But, likewise, he's one of the best. People don't often remember that now.
02:36You see it from him playing wing-back. He's one of the best at breaking when you regain the ball.
02:39So, having him and Kane on that side, Robbie, Ali, the other and then the 9 and 10 at the top
02:46gave us a lot of threat when we won the ball back and we didn't quite recreate that in the second half.
02:53Freddie Woodman's not had much to do really, has he, other than the piece?
02:56He's not in the games that have been here, to be fair. The boys in front, start to finish, have been very good.
03:01Emil, did you think he was back to his best self today, leading the line?
03:06He worked his socks off. It was tough as it went on as well and the people we cramped round him.
03:11I thought about bringing Leighton on, but it would have been tough for him to come in and get up to speed with the game that quickly.
03:20At any point, if I'd have brought him on. So, yeah, Emil with us.
03:24Sam missing, Will missing, Milly missing. He had to dig deep and give us 90 minutes.
03:30Was Kane all right? He felt his hamstring and then managed to...
03:33Cramping, yeah, cramping. Robbie cramp, Yuzi cramp.
03:36Which is to be expected. We played Wednesday night, didn't we?
03:39The outputs in that game were fantastic as well as they were today.
03:44I think it's a good illustration to the players, to us, how we want to play and the type of performance that we want to deliver.
03:53But it's hard work. Football shouldn't be easy.
