China’s Premier Li Qiang arrived in Malaysia on Tuesday (June 18) night to begin his three-day official visit, marking his first trip to the country since assuming the post in March last year

Li’s visit also coincides with the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Malaysia and China.

00:00China's Premier Li Qiang arrived in Malaysia on Tuesday to begin his three-day official
00:05visit, marking his first trip to the country since assuming the post in March last year.
00:11The Air China aircraft carrying Li and his delegation touched down at the Bunga Raya
00:16complex of the Kuala Lumpur International Airport at 8.44pm.
00:22Among those who welcomed him were the Chinese Ambassador to Malaysia Ouyang Yu Jing, Transport
00:27Minister Anthony Luk and Malaysia's Ambassador to China Datuk Norman Muhammad.
00:34Li's visit coincides with the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations
00:40between Malaysia and China.
00:42During his visit, Li is scheduled to hold a meeting with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar
00:48Ibrahim to discuss bilateral matters and exchange views on regional and global issues of mutual
00:55interest.
00:56Li will also have an audience with His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia.
