00:00Wolverhampton Wanderers' highly anticipated fixtures for the 2024-25 season have now been
00:07announced by the Premier League. It's a very tough start, I've got to say, away at Arsenal
00:12on the opening weekend on August 17th, a 3pm kick-off. They're not the typical Friday night,
00:18they're on a Saturday at 3pm, away from the TV limelight but definitely in the limelight
00:23in terms of the Premier League title challenge as Arsenal, of course, wanting to beat Manchester
00:27City this year, end the Citizens' streak, they don't want them making it five years in a row.
00:31Mikel Arteta's team, of course, immense disappointment last year of missing out
00:35with just a few games left to go and then the final day it went down to,
00:39missing out against Man City. They'll want to kick things off as best as possible so a very
00:43tough game for Wolves, arguably one of the toughest, if not the toughest game, to start the
00:48season, especially as it's away from home. The first home match isn't too easy either, Enzo
00:53Maresco's Chelsea will head to Molineux, the new manager will want to kick off the new era at
00:58Stamford Bridge very well on the opening weekend and then, of course, his first away game will be
01:02against Wolves, not going to be an easy one either. Boxing Day, another tough game actually, quite a
01:08theme going on here. Manchester United at home, I think Wolves will fancy this one a little bit more
01:13than the other two I've mentioned. Man Utd, of course, not being the best over the last few years,
01:17finishing eighth last season. They will want to bounce back though, we'll see a bit closer to the
01:22time how they're faring and how tough that game might well be on Boxing Day. The final game of the
01:27season, a lot more of an easier prospect. Brentford at home, a team last season that kind of fell apart
01:33under Thomas Frank, expected to lose Ivan Toni in the summer, potentially a few other key players as
01:38well. I think they might be in relegation reckoning, probably just above that, but it's a game that
01:43Wolves will fancy winning on the final day and around that period they also have to play Crystal
01:48Palace and Brighton and Hove Albion, so not too bad actually of a run-in. You do have to play Man City
01:53and Man United in the final six games, but the final three being Brighton, Palace and Brentford
01:58isn't too bad at all.
