Many Floridians were able to get out and about on Friday, but wet weather isn't done with the Sunshine State yet.

00:00We're also keeping a close eye on Florida when it comes to the storms because that's where we've
00:05been tracking torrential rainfall and that's where things still stay a little warmer. I mean not too
00:12bad 84 in Miami Jacksonville you're much warmer where you're going to be dodging a lot of that
00:16action and that's where our top story takes us to Florida where we are still seeing pockets of
00:21heavy rain including here in Brandonton south of Tampa. Wow can we okay I'm I thought I saw a video
00:31earlier I think I just have crocodiles maybe on the mind but certainly it is wet there in Florida
00:37and that was just taken earlier today. Let's take you live to Miami right now where we are seeing
00:43breaks from the heavy rain this evening and people can be out and about maybe celebrating a little
00:50bit there at the cafe that the news cafe don't see too much action there in that camera 85 right
00:58now in Miami and well if you look at satellite and radar that tracks because we don't really
01:03see too much in and around Miami-Dade. Now when we look at the past 72 hours though we've seen
01:10the heavy rain in these areas I mean Miami clocking close to 16 inches just in the last 72 hours
01:18that's not including again the rain before that sunrise about 15 and a half. Hollywood you're at
01:2414 and a half so pretty impressive numbers here even Oasis over 13. Where those storms are at now
01:30we've seen them popping up there south of Orlando mostly zooming in closer along that I-95 corridor
01:36and parts of the Florida Turnpike though if we look a little bit further west you'll see some
01:41storminess around Tampa heads up could see some lightning if you are heading out just make sure
01:48you are staying weather aware but Miami you're not doing too bad right now though you're not
01:52completely out of the woods yet because we are still tracking rainstorm impacts. First you could
01:58still encounter some flooding even after the rain stops but we aren't done with the heavy rain we
02:04have more on the way as we head into the weekend so into Saturday we are tracking some risk to
02:10lives and property with pockets of major flash flooding still likely to occur and that can of
02:17course disrupt travel so make sure you are planning ahead and not the best beach day even if you don't
02:23see the storm we're talking about some rough surf and rip currents though future radar rainfall
02:28you'll see we aren't done yet some of that green continues to shade in again tomorrow morning
02:35we're seeing some very heavy rain move into Miami and southern Florida heads up stay weather aware
