00:09The Prime Minister visited Squires Garden Centre in Crawley and knocked on doors in the local area
00:14before visiting the Dog and Bacon Pub in North Parade, Horsham for a Neighbourhood Watch meeting.
00:20The visit came after the Conservative Party promised to recruit 8,000 additional police officers

00:28Mr Sunak visited Horsham in April to launch a retail crime crackdown, with Neighbourhood Crime now his focus.
00:34Meanwhile, fire crews responded to an incident involving hazardous materials at an industrial estate in West Sussex.
00:41West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service were called to Gilman's Industrial Estate on Nats Lane in Biddinghurst around 5am today.
00:48A spokesperson for the fire service said it was a hazardous materials incident, adding
00:52Upon arrival, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the premises to carry out investigations.
00:58The cause of the chemical reaction was located and firefighters isolated the issue.
01:03Sussex police were also in attendance and officers assisted the fire service in setting up cordons to keep members of the public safe.
01:10Fortunately, there were no casualties and extensive checks were carried out to ensure the building was safe
01:15before the incident was handed over to the occupiers.
01:18Finally, hundreds of people of all ages dressed up in pink on Sunday to take part in the Race for Life at Alexandra Park in Hastings.
01:25The National Park is one of the biggest annual fundraisers for Cancer Research UK and many of those taking part were running in memory of a loved one.
01:33Many runners made the journey from Bexhill and surrounding towns and villages to take part.
