01:53 How are you, ladies and gentlemen,
01:55 dear viewers, may Allah bless you all.
01:58 We meet again in My Quran Time program,
02:00 Quran Salah and Infa.
02:02 A program that discusses,
02:03 discusses, investigates and interprets
02:05 the holy verses of the Quran.
02:07 The most important thing is how we can act
02:11 with the verses that we have read
02:13 and have heard all this time, inshallah.
02:16 As usual, with me,
02:18 the international face of Tokoh Khori,
02:21 which is Ustaz Tarmizi.
02:22 How are you, Ustaz?
02:23 Alhamdulillah, dear Ustaz.
02:25 You look happy today.
02:26 Alhamdulillah, dear Ustaz.
02:28 Alhamdulillah.
02:30 From Indonesia to the Bromo Mountains,
02:34 Prof. Dr. Ahmad Sanusi,
02:37 smiling, as usual.
02:38 As usual, as usual.
02:41 But for Ustaz Fazlul,
02:42 he will be fully responsible.
02:43 I will wait for that, inshallah.
02:46 Together with us, as usual,
02:48 Ustaz Tarmizi, who will guide us
02:51 in reading the Quran, Tajweed and so on,
02:54 shortly, inshallah.
02:55 Today, we will enter into the verse number 115
02:58 to the verse number 120, inshallah.
03:02 As usual, before we start
03:04 our recitation,
03:05 we will read a short prayer.
03:06 (prayer in Arabic)
03:13 "O Allah, increase our knowledge,
03:14 a useful knowledge for ourselves
03:17 and the people of the community, inshallah."
03:19 Alright, before we enter into the discussion
03:21 of the verse number 115 to the verse number 120,
03:24 let us read the synopsis first.
03:28 What will be discussed today
03:31 in these 6 or 5 verses?
03:33 Insha'Allah, together with us,
03:34 we will pay attention to the verses
03:35 from the verses number 115 to the verses number 117,
03:38 which are about the battle
03:41 between Prophet Musa a.s.
03:43 and the people of the people of magic.
03:46 Then, in the verses number 118 to 119,
03:50 the truth and defeat of the people of magic was revealed.
03:54 Whereas, in the verse number 120,
03:56 the prostration of the people of magic was made
03:58 after hearing or proving
04:00 the truth of Prophet Musa a.s.
04:02 These are the 5 verses
04:04 that we will discuss today
04:06 about the episode of the battle
04:09 between Prophet Musa a.s. and the people of magic
04:11 which was gathered by the entire of Egypt
04:13 or the entire of the people of Prophet Musa a.s.
04:16 Before we go into the details of the verses
04:19 about the battle,
04:21 let us read together,
04:23 ladies and gentlemen,
04:25 verses number 115 to the verses number 116, inshallah.
04:31 Thank you, dear Dr. Fadhil.
04:33 May peace and blessings of Allah be upon you.
04:36 Ladies and gentlemen,
04:38 may Allah's mercy and blessings be upon you.
04:40 Alhamdulillah, we meet again.
04:42 In this episode, we will start our reading
04:44 with two verses,
04:46 verses number 115 and also the verse number 116.
04:49 We will try to start this reading
04:52 together with Taranum Hijaz, inshallah.
04:55 Taranum Hijaz.
04:57 I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Satan.
05:02 They said, "O Moses,
05:08 either you throw,
05:16 or we throw."
05:31 He said, "Throw."
05:40 So when they threw, they cast a spell
06:01 over the eyes of the people
06:14 and cast a great spell.
06:31 Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
06:38 May Allah's peace and blessings be upon you.
06:40 In the verse number 115,
06:42 the magicians said,
06:45 "O Moses,
06:47 either you throw,
06:49 or we throw."
06:51 This is the episode of the meeting
06:54 that we have discussed before.
06:56 The people of Moses gathered
06:59 his advisors,
07:01 advising Pharaoh to gather all the magicians
07:04 that we have discussed before.
07:06 Some said up to 80,000,
07:08 some said 70,000,
07:10 some said 15,000.
07:12 This is the beginning of the meeting.
07:16 When they had settled,
07:18 they had received an offer from Pharaoh
07:21 about how they would meet
07:24 or what payment they would get.
07:26 They started the meeting
07:29 by offering to Prophet Moses first.
07:32 He said, "O Moses,
07:34 either you throw,
07:35 or we throw."
07:38 He said to Prophet Moses,
07:40 "Do you want to throw first,
07:42 or do you want to start first,
07:44 or do we want to start first?"
07:47 This is what was discussed by some scholars
07:50 about why this offer was made.
07:53 This offer was made.
07:55 We call this the Mubaraza.
07:57 Mubaraza is a two-way meeting
07:59 where one of them will show
08:01 their respective strengths.
08:03 If you still remember,
08:04 in the Battle of Badr,
08:05 Mubaraza also took place.
08:07 Let's see who was stronger
08:09 before the next meeting.
08:11 This was discussed by
08:13 Imam Zamakhshari
08:15 or Sheikh Tontawi.
08:17 This offer was made
08:19 as a first step
08:21 to show,
08:23 to give strength to Prophet Moses
08:25 to see what would be
08:27 offered first by
08:29 Pharaoh or the magicians.
08:32 Secondly,
08:34 Sheikh Tontawi saw this
08:36 as a way to show
08:38 that Prophet Moses
08:40 was more confident.
08:43 Although Prophet Moses
08:45 was a bit worried,
08:47 but this offered
08:49 showed how Prophet Moses
08:51 was confident.
08:53 If we are confident,
08:54 it is not a problem
08:55 who wants to throw first.
08:57 Let's say we have
08:59 a wrestling match.
09:01 It doesn't matter who wants to throw first.
09:03 You throw first,
09:04 I will throw later.
09:06 Or you run first.
09:08 I will chase you later.
09:10 In a match,
09:11 we want to see who is better.
09:13 When he accepted the offer,
09:14 he said,
09:15 you go first.
09:16 This showed that
09:17 Prophet Moses was confident
09:19 that this was something
09:21 that could be defeated
09:24 with the help of Allah.
09:27 This is an example
09:29 of how Prophet Moses
09:31 was so confident
09:32 that he could defeat
09:34 Sheikh Tontawi.
09:37 He said,
09:38 do whatever you want.
09:40 Allah will be with me.
09:42 This is a strength
09:43 or a advantage
09:44 that was given to Prophet Moses.
09:46 Prophet Moses said,
09:48 "Qala alqu"
09:49 In the next verse,
09:50 Prophet Moses said,
09:51 "Qamu limparkanla"
09:53 "Falamma alqaw saharu a'yunannaasi wastarhabuhum
09:57 waja'u bishihrin azim"
09:59 Allah said,
10:01 "Maka setelah dilimparkan"
10:03 "Mereka menyihir mata orang ramai"
10:06 This is a little bit about
10:09 the attribute of magic.
10:11 I don't want to talk about magic.
10:14 But one of the things
10:16 that is mentioned here
10:17 is attributed by Allah in the Quran.
10:19 Magic is something
10:21 that blinds the human eyes.
10:23 Allah said,
10:24 "Falamma alqaw saharu a'yunannaasi wastarhabuhum"
10:28 Not only blinds,
10:31 but also gives fear to humans.
10:33 Sometimes we see people as usual.
10:36 But with the knowledge that they have,
10:38 which makes us afraid of them,
10:40 is blinding or things that blinds the human eyes.
10:44 This is the subject that we will discuss a little bit
10:47 about the possibility of an incident
10:50 involving magic
10:51 that happened in the time of Prophet Moses.
10:55 We take a break first.

14:49 Sadaqallahul Azeem. Alhamdulillah.
14:51 We meet again in the program My Quran Time.
14:54 Quran Salat and Info.
14:56 Before the break, we have discussed
14:58 about the verse 115 and the verse 116.
15:02 Where the verse 115 is a revelation
15:05 from the people of magic, the Pharaoh,
15:08 to say, "If so, who will start first?"
15:11 Then when Prophet Moses said,
15:13 "You start first, it is okay.
15:15 As long as you are willing."
15:16 As mentioned by Sheikh Tontawi,
15:18 he was confident about
15:20 what Allah SWT would help him with.
15:24 When it was said, "Qala al-ku"
15:28 "Throw it"
15:29 "Falamma al-qaw saharu a'yunan nas"
15:32 When they threw their staff,
15:37 their rope, and so on,
15:39 "This is the beginning of the day of destruction.
15:41 They will swallow up the eye of the people
15:44 and their eyes will be covered with darkness
15:46 and will make the people afraid."
15:48 You can imagine,
15:49 this is mentioned in the interpretation,
15:51 until when the Salafus-Saleh,
15:54 the Qatadah, and so on,
15:56 in the interpretation of Ibn Kathir,
15:58 tells how after they threw
16:01 their rope or their staff,
16:03 the huge number of snakes,
16:05 "Ka'an nahul jibal"
16:07 in the verse, "As many as the mountains that come"
16:10 caused Prophet Moses to be worried
16:13 about what was happening.
16:15 This is what is called "Wastarhabuhum"
16:17 which caused the people who saw it
16:19 to be afraid of what was happening.
16:22 Here we also take an interesting teaching.
16:25 It is said, "Saharu a'yunan nas"
16:28 This is also mentioned in Surah Tauhah
16:31 about the verse "Yukhayyalu"
16:33 or "He turned away from the sight of the people"
16:36 which happened just like
16:38 what we discussed earlier,
16:40 happened in the time of Rasulullah SAW.
16:43 The hadith that was told by Saidatina Aisha.
16:46 As usual, I always remember
16:48 the hadiths that involve
16:50 domestic affairs in the house of the Prophet's wife
16:53 which was told by Saidatina Aisha.
16:56 Aisha's level was so high
16:58 because she narrated 2,210 hadiths
17:02 where the second ranking
17:04 that women narrated was 300 hadiths
17:09 which is "Um Musalama"
17:11 so you can imagine the ranking
17:13 from 2,000 to 300 hadiths only.
17:15 There were so many matters in the house of the Prophet's wife.
17:18 What did the Prophet read before going to bed?
17:20 How did the Prophet eat?
17:22 There were even little fights if we look at it.
17:24 Did the Prophet make a book?
17:26 Yes, there was a book called "Rumah Tangga Rasulullah SAW"
17:29 I also made a little book.
17:31 Thank you Ustaz for reminding me about that.
17:35 So, I want to tell you that
17:36 Aisha narrated about domestic affairs.
17:38 In the case of "Sihih", Aisha also narrated.
17:41 Aisha said that the Prophet's wife
17:44 Rasulullah SAW
17:46 was possessed by a man named Labid bin Aqsam
17:50 who was a Jew.
17:52 The meaning of "Hatta" is interesting.
17:54 It is the same as this verse.
17:56 Aisha said, "Hatta kaana yukhayyalu ilayhi annahu yaf'alushay
18:00 wa ma yaf'aluhu"
18:02 As if the Prophet was possessed
18:04 or he saw that he had done something
18:06 but he did not do it.
18:08 It was like he was possessed by something he thought of
18:11 and possessed by something he saw.
18:13 It was like we did not see our "Sihih" people.
18:16 There are many types of "Sihih".
18:18 There is "Sihir Mahabbah"
18:20 which causes people to like us.
18:22 When we see Ustaz Tanmizy's face,
18:24 we say, "He is handsome."
18:26 Then, we are bewitched and seduced by everyone.
18:29 There are many types of "Sihih".
18:31 There is "Sihir Tafrik".
18:32 "Tafrik" is when a man separates his wife
18:34 and he cannot see his wife's face.
18:36 As soon as he sees her, he always wants to fight.
18:38 He becomes like that.
18:40 He is bewitched by the way of thinking of humans
18:44 during the time of Rasulullah SAW.
18:47 He was so bewitched
18:49 that he was helped by angels
18:52 to find out where the "Sihir" was tied.
18:59 It was said that there was a "Sikat"
19:02 or a personal tool for him.
19:05 That is why we have to take care of our personal tools.
19:07 Hair.
19:08 Sometimes, people who want "Sihir"
19:09 take hair or personal things.
19:12 This is something that must be taken care of.
19:14 Do not leave it as it is.
19:17 If you are popular like Ustaz Tirmizi,
19:20 you will be taken away.
19:24 You will be taken away.
19:26 This is how the "Sihir" happens.
19:29 It is when you are bewitched
19:30 and taken away by someone's personal elements.
19:33 Before we continue our discussion,
19:35 I would like to ask Ustaz Tirmizi to read the verse 117 and 118
19:42 for the next discussion.
19:44 Thank you, Dr. Fadhil.
19:47 It is a blessing to have your smile.
19:50 It melts our hearts.
19:53 We are eager to continue our study.
19:55 We are not complaining.
19:56 Alhamdulillah.
19:59 We are grateful to Allah.
20:00 We are going to read the verse 117 and 118.
20:07 We have tried the verse in Hijaz.
20:09 We will try this one with the help of Taranum Nahawan.
20:12 I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Satan.
20:16 We inspired Moses,
20:28 "Throw down your staff."
20:34 But when it was thrown down, they did not turn back.
20:48 So the truth fell, and what they used to do became vain.
21:06 Allah almighty has spoken the truth.
21:16 In the verse 116,
21:19 Prophet Moses replied,
21:21 "Throw down your staff first."
21:23 Then after it was thrown down,
21:25 they cast a spell on the people and made them afraid.
21:28 In the verse 117,
21:30 "And we inspired Moses,
21:32 "Throw down your staff."
21:34 Then suddenly it turned into a snake
21:37 and swallowed all their falsehoods.
21:40 This verse is very interesting for us to discuss.
21:43 The first point is in the verse,
21:46 "This is the action of the prophets,
21:50 "guided by Allah."
21:54 It is the same if we look at the case
21:56 where the prophet was cast a spell.
21:58 The angels came to determine
22:01 or to dispel
22:03 what happened to the spell.
22:06 It is said that two surahs,
22:08 "Mu'awwidhatain"
22:09 are related to the spell.
22:12 One of the best protection
22:16 is as taught by the prophet.
22:20 Before going to sleep,
22:22 in the morning or at night,
22:24 recite two or three surahs.
22:26 We usually recite three surahs.
22:28 Two "Mu'awwidhatain"
22:30 are related to the spell.
22:32 The spell is very helpful
22:37 to protect us from the magicians.
22:41 "Wa'awwhaina" is a command
22:44 to protect yourself.
22:46 It is a command from Allah
22:48 where Rasulullah was asked
22:50 to protect himself from Allah
22:52 by reciting the Quran.
22:55 The second command is simple.
22:59 "An'alqi'asak"
23:01 is to throw your staff.
23:04 If I am not mistaken,
23:06 Allah asked Prophet Musa,
23:08 "Is this like Prophet Musa?"
23:10 Prophet Musa said, "Hiya asawya"
23:12 The staff of Prophet Musa
23:14 has four functions.
23:16 Prophet Musa was asked one question
23:18 and he answered four questions.
23:20 "Hiya asawya"
23:21 is my staff.
23:22 "Ka'ubiha"
23:23 is my staff.
23:24 "Wa'hu shubiha ala ghanami"
23:25 is my food for my sheep.
23:27 "Wa liyafihama aribu ukhra"
23:29 is four things
23:30 that Prophet Musa's staff is used for.
23:32 In this case,
23:33 there is one more thing
23:35 that is used to fight.
23:37 Prophet Musa was commanded
23:39 to throw the staff
23:41 until it caused
23:43 "Hiyatalqafu ma'a ya'fikun"
23:46 He ate other snakes.
23:48 This is discussed in
23:50 the tafsir of Ibn Kathir.
23:52 He said, actually,
23:54 the snake that was eaten by
23:56 the people of magic,
23:57 Prophet Musa,
23:58 was only a magic
24:00 or a trick
24:01 of the eyes.
24:02 It means
24:03 it was not real.
24:04 Suddenly, Prophet Musa's staff
24:06 really turned into a snake.
24:08 That is why,
24:09 the people of magic said,
24:10 "Fawakal haqqu'waba ta'lama kanu ya'malun"
24:13 It is proven that
24:16 the truth comes from God.
24:20 The wrong comes from
24:22 the falsehood of the people of magic,
24:24 the people of Pharaoh or Prophet Musa.
24:29 At that time,
24:30 it finally destroyed the people of Prophet Musa.
24:33 This is a little bit of our discussion today.
24:36 Then, we will discuss a little bit of our choice words
24:38 from our Mu'jam today,
24:40 which is "Laqifa"
24:42 which we mentioned earlier,
24:43 "Fa'idahiyatalqafu ma'a ya'fikun"
24:45 which means, "He ate"
24:47 which is mentioned three times
24:49 in the Quran.
24:51 These are our choice words.
24:52 Hopefully, it will add a little bit
24:54 of knowledge of our Arabic language.
24:56 We will take a break for a while.
24:58 My Quran Time, Quran Salat Infa.

25:30 [Music]
25:48 [Music]
26:07 [Music]
26:21 [Music]
26:33 The verse about fasting,
26:35 "Ayyaman ma'abdudat"
26:37 which means, "These are days that are short."
26:40 Even now, it's almost 20 days.
26:42 We don't even notice it's 20 days.
26:44 What we can't do is,
26:46 we can't ignore our time.
26:49 We will be asked about our free time.
26:53 The Prophet s.a.w. mentioned,
26:55 "Ni'matan marbu'unun fi hima kati'i ruminan nas"
26:58 Two blessings that most people
27:00 are not blessed with.
27:03 "Sihatu wal fara'a"
27:05 "Sihat" means healthy body.
27:08 "Al-fara'a" is free time.
27:11 When you go to bed, you don't know what to do.
27:13 That's the problem.
27:15 Fill your free time with what we mentioned earlier.
27:18 Whatever form of worship,
27:20 whether it's a special or general form,
27:22 helping Muslims, helping animals,
27:25 that needs our help,
27:27 we've filled our time with that.
27:29 What we can't do is,
27:31 we can't waste our time.
27:33 "J'alhu lana hujjatayn"
27:39 "Ya Rabb al-'alamin"
27:51 "J'alhu lana hujjatayn"
27:56 "Ya Rabb al-'alamin"
28:02 "J'alhu lana hujjatayn"
28:08 "Ya Rabb al-'alamin"
28:14 "Ya Rabb al-'alamin"
28:22 "Ya Rabb al-'alamin"
28:30 "Ya Rabb al-'alamin"
28:38 "Ya Rabb al-'alamin"
28:48 "Ya Rabb al-'alamin"
28:58 "Ya Rabb al-'alamin"
29:08 "Ya Rabb al-'alamin"
29:18 "Ya Rabb al-'alamin"
29:28 Hopefully, Allah SWT will take care of our hearts.
29:32 "Ya mukallibal qulubat tabidqulubana 'ala dini wa ta'atik"
29:38 O Allah, who is always turning our hearts,
29:43 keep our hearts, O Allah,
29:45 on the path of faith, righteousness,
29:48 obedience to Allah SWT.
29:50 "Ya Rabb al-'alamin"
29:53 Hopefully, our eyes are not bewitched
29:56 like followers or people who are bewitched by sorcerers
30:03 who are against Prophet Musa AS.
30:07 Hopefully, our hearts are easily guided
30:09 and blessed with guidance from Allah SWT.
30:13 "Ya Rabb al-'alamin"
30:15 Is it ok, doctor?
30:16 Yes.
30:17 Do you want to continue?
30:18 Yes.
30:19 After this?
30:20 Yes, God willing.
30:21 Ok, so, allow us, Prof. Madadokta,
30:23 to take a short break to the Tajweed room.
30:26 Our focus is on the verse number 115.
30:30 We want to pay attention to one verse.
30:32 What is our choice?
30:34 "Auzubillahimnishatirrohim"
30:35 Ok.
30:37 "Qalu Ya Musa imma an tulqi wa imma"
30:51 Please.
30:52 "Qalu Ya Musa imma an tulqi wa imma"
31:09 "wa imma an nakuna nahnul mulqeen"
31:27 Please.
31:28 "wa imma an nakuna nahnul mulqeen"
31:44 That was the recitation.
31:46 A lot of recitations.
31:48 Alhamdulillah, that was good.
31:49 We will try to recite it in a more responsive way.
31:53 So, the parents, especially those in the studio,
31:58 can listen to it in a more responsive way.
32:02 Subhanallah, the taranum is different.
32:05 They can follow it differently.
32:07 Today, we are in the episode number 500.
32:10 So, if you hear it by yourself,
32:12 ask the teacher, "What song is that?"
32:14 "Oh, taranum."
32:16 It's there every day.
32:17 So, Subhanallah, hopefully,
32:18 the parents, ladies and gentlemen at home,
32:22 or those who are following us on any platform,
32:24 can participate in reciting together
32:27 and get a good name for our recitation of the Quran.
32:31 InshaAllah.
32:32 Ameen, Ya Rabbana Ameen.
32:33 Alright, first, be careful with the "Qalu"
32:36 "Qaf"
32:37 "Qalu"
32:39 Please.
32:40 "Qalu"
32:42 Yes.
32:43 Yes.
32:44 Yes, we are soft.
32:45 "Qalu Ya Musa"
32:49 It's a strong sound, right?
32:51 A little soft.
32:52 "Qalu Ya Musa"
32:56 Please.
32:57 "Qalu Ya Musa"
33:01 MashaAllah, praise to Allah.
33:03 Alhamdulillah.
33:04 "Imma"
33:06 "Imma"
33:08 Okay, "Mim" with a "Sabdu".
33:10 There is "Nun" with a "Sabdu",
33:12 "Nun" with a "Sabdu"
33:13 or "Mim" with a "Sabdu".
33:14 The name is "Wajibal"
33:16 or "Nun Mushaddadah"
33:17 or "Mim Mushaddadah".
33:18 The way to read it is to hear two movements, right?
33:20 "Imma"
33:22 Please.
33:23 "Imma"
33:25 And one more.
33:26 "Wa-Imma"
33:29 "Wa-Imma"
33:32 Alright.
33:33 "An-Tul-Qiyah"
33:36 Please.
33:37 "An-Tul-Qiyah"
33:40 "Nun Mati" meets with "Ta"
33:44 What is it called?
33:45 "Ikhfa Hakiki"
33:46 How many movements did you hear?
33:48 Two movements.
33:49 "Nun Mati"
33:50 or "Tanwin" meets with his friends.
33:52 There are 15 letters.
33:54 "Ikhfa Hakiki"
33:55 You heard two movements.
33:56 Alright.
33:57 Then we want to see one more.
33:58 "Nun Mati" meets with "Nun"
34:01 There.
34:02 "Wa-Imma An-Nakun"
34:10 Try it.
34:11 "Wa-Imma An-Nakun"
34:19 "Nun Mati" meets with "Nun"
34:21 What is its name?
34:23 "Idhram Ma'al-Gunah"
34:26 Sometimes we take "Idhram Ma'al-Gunah"
34:28 "Ya Wa Mim Nun"
34:29 "Nun Mati"
34:30 or "Tanwin" meets with 4 letters.
34:32 So, don't be hasty.
34:34 "Wa-Imma An-Nakun"
34:35 When I was studying,
34:36 one of my Ustaz
34:39 he focused on that only.
34:42 "Nun Mati" and "Mim Mati"
34:43 What is the common mistake?
34:45 Because we read fast.
34:47 He focused on that only.
34:48 There are many signs.
34:50 "Awak Bunyi Ni"
34:51 "Nun Mati"
34:52 "Nun" with "Sabdu"
34:53 "Mim" with "Sabdu"
34:54 All of them are fast.
34:55 Not enough.
34:56 Two movements.
34:57 Subhanallah.
34:58 We find this a lot in our reading.
34:59 We have to be careful.
35:00 Because if we are used to it,
35:02 not enough,
35:03 then it will be carried away in our reading.
35:06 So, when we read for a long time
35:08 with the incorrect one,
35:10 then it is a bit challenging
35:11 to correct it.
35:13 So, when we have corrected it,
35:15 then we have to get used to the correct one.
35:17 Correct the normal one,
35:18 get used to the correct one.
35:20 This.
35:21 Okay, good.
35:22 The last one,
35:23 we look at the word
35:24 "Nahnul Mulqin"
35:28 Please.
35:29 "Nahnul Mulqin"
35:34 Okay, our focus is on one letter "H".
35:36 Try "Nahnu".
35:37 "Nahnu"
35:38 And the second one,
35:39 "Mulqin Qaf"
35:41 "Mulqin"
35:42 Don't change it to "Kaf".
35:43 And don't make it too heavy.
35:45 "Nahnul Mulqin"
35:48 Oh my, "Mulqin".
35:50 That's too deep.
35:51 Too deep.
35:52 "Mulqin"
35:54 Try.
35:55 "Mulqin"
35:57 Alhamdulillah.
35:58 And we want to try to memorize this verse.
36:00 I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Satan.
36:01 Pay attention.
36:02 "They said, 'O Moses,
36:07 either you cast it down or'"
36:16 Please.
36:17 "They said, 'O Moses, either you cast it down or'"
36:34 "or we will be the one who casts it down."
36:46 "or we will be the one who casts it down."
36:59 "They said, 'O Moses,
37:08 either you cast it down or'"
37:26 Please.
37:28 "or we will be the one who casts it down."
37:47 MashaAllah.
37:48 Alhamdulillah.
37:49 We have successfully recited it well.
37:51 Firstly, in terms of its recitation,
37:53 its pronunciation,
37:54 and its Tajweed.
37:55 And we have memorized the 100th verse.
37:58 And I noticed that,
38:00 SubhanAllah,
38:01 from day to day,
38:03 the improvement in breathing,
38:08 SubhanAllah,
38:09 the breath length has increased.
38:11 So, that's great.
38:12 Congratulations.
38:13 Continue.
38:14 For the competition.
38:15 For our recitation.
38:18 For our recitation.
38:19 InshaAllah.
38:20 We want to take a break.
38:21 Ladies and gentlemen,
38:22 don't go anywhere.
38:23 We will be back after this.
38:24 It is now time for the Quran.
38:25 Quran, Salat, and Ifaq.
38:27 InshaAllah.

42:21 Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
42:23 We meet again in the program
42:25 My Quran Time.
42:26 Quran, Salat, and Ifaq.
42:28 Today, we are discussing the verse
42:30 from verse 15 to verse 120.
42:34 Before the break,
42:35 before the Tajweed recitation,
42:37 we have discussed
42:38 about the actions of Prophet Musa
42:41 which were carried out by the revelation
42:43 which was commanded by Prophet Musa
42:46 to throw the tongkat to him
42:49 so that the tongkat
42:51 would eat other snakes.
42:53 Until it was seen
42:55 [Al-Quran, Verse 12]
42:59 until the truth was proven
43:01 that what they did was in fact a lie.
43:05 It was read at the beginning
43:07 of this session by Ustaz Tanmizi
43:09 [Al-Quran, Verse 12]
43:13 "So they were defeated
43:15 and they became again
43:17 the people who were humiliated."
43:19 "Saghirin" means small.
43:21 "Saghirin" is a description,
43:23 an image of their low status.
43:25 They were thought to be
43:27 the people of magic.
43:29 It means that they were a strong group
43:31 but were defeated by only one person
43:34 with the advantage given by
43:36 Allah SWT
43:38 which is to imagine the power of Allah SWT.
43:41 The detail of this episode
43:44 was mentioned by Imam Ibn Kathir
43:46 which he said,
43:48 "Qala Ibn Abbas"
43:49 Imam or Sayyidina Abdullah bin Abbas
43:51 he said,
43:52 "Fa ja'alat la tamurru bishain minhibalihim
43:54 wa la min khashabihim illa il taqamathu"
43:57 He said,
43:58 "There was not even one piece of wood
44:01 or a snake or a rope
44:03 that they threw.
44:04 All of it was eaten."
44:05 It means that,
44:06 they imagined,
44:07 they imagined the mountain of snakes
44:09 or the number of snakes
44:12 that they threw
44:13 to frighten Prophet Musa.
44:15 But the fear returned
44:18 to them
44:19 and they became small.
44:20 So, "Saghirin" became a shock.
44:22 It means that they became afraid
44:24 because they saw that
44:25 this was not a normal magic.
44:27 This is a real thing
44:29 that was brought by Allah SWT
44:32 to silence
44:34 the magicians.
44:36 Then Allah SWT said,
44:38 "Wa ulqiyasahara tu sajidin"
44:40 "And the followers of magic
44:44 fell down and prostrated."
44:47 This is an interesting discussion
44:49 that was said by the scholar Bahrawi.
44:52 The scholar Bahrawi,
44:53 before that,
44:54 we saw earlier
44:55 that he was like
44:56 the one who exposed
44:58 our magic techniques.
44:59 He said that if we do magic on the wall,
45:01 we have a little hole in the back.
45:04 There is a little hole in the back.
45:06 There is a bird's nest.
45:07 There is a rabbit's nest.
45:08 Suddenly, people exposed it.
45:10 So, we were embarrassed.
45:11 "Saghirin"
45:12 It means that we were embarrassed
45:13 that this happened to the magicians
45:15 of Prophet Musa.
45:16 They thought that
45:17 their wood would win
45:19 but it did not happen.
45:21 It was exposed.
45:22 This was said by
45:23 the scholar Muhammad Ibn Ishaq.
45:25 He said,
45:26 "Ja'alat tabtalat tilkal hibal"
45:28 They became afraid
45:30 because they thought
45:31 that the snake was great.
45:32 But the snake was eaten.
45:33 So, if we have a car
45:35 that we attack,
45:37 we will be destroyed.
45:38 We will be afraid.
45:39 It means that
45:40 the power that we brought
45:41 earlier
45:42 caused them
45:43 to eat themselves again.
45:46 This is what happened
45:47 and was told
45:48 in detail by
45:49 the scholar Ibn Kathir
45:50 who recorded it.
45:51 Then,
45:52 what is also interesting
45:53 in this discussion
45:54 "Wa'ulnqiyasaharatusajirin"
45:56 The terrifying situation
45:58 caused
45:59 if we look at
46:00 the word "ulqiyah"
46:01 actually
46:02 "laqa" or "ulqiyah"
46:04 if in the above verses
46:06 "Qala alqu"
46:07 "Throw it away"
46:08 If here,
46:09 it is translated as
46:10 "to destroy themselves"
46:12 "As they will"
46:13 This is what was said
46:14 by the scholar Barawi.
46:15 He said,
46:16 "Min suratima sajadu
46:17 ka'an nahum ulqu"
46:19 "As they will"
46:20 They were too afraid
46:21 that they threw themselves
46:23 to prostrate.
46:24 It means that they were too afraid.
46:25 Because the word "ulqiyah"
46:26 is actually
46:27 "Throw it away"
46:28 as we studied earlier.
46:29 "Wa'ulnqiyah"
46:30 is translated as
46:31 "They will destroy themselves"
46:33 "As they will"
46:35 "People"
46:36 "Be prostrate"
46:38 "As they will"
46:39 Because they were too afraid
46:40 they threw themselves
46:42 prostrate to Allah SWT.
46:45 What caused them to prostrate?
46:48 It was told by the scholar Barawi.
46:50 He said,
46:51 "Waqilah alhamahumullah
46:52 ayyazjudu fahsajadu"
46:53 They were inspired by Allah
46:55 to prostrate.
46:56 They prostrated
46:57 as it happened in Surah An-Najm.
46:59 If I'm not mistaken.
47:00 "Fa'budu lillahi wasjudu"
47:01 At the end of Surah,
47:02 when Quraysh heard it,
47:04 they prostrated
47:05 with Rasulullah.
47:06 If you read the tafsir,
47:07 Surah An-Najm,
47:08 this is what caused
47:09 the first group of people
47:10 who migrated to Abyssinia
47:12 to return to Mecca
47:13 because they thought
47:14 Quraysh had prostrated to Allah.
47:16 But actually,
47:17 it was because Allah SWT
47:18 inspired them
47:19 or threw into their hearts
47:21 their faith.
47:22 No, not their faith.
47:23 It means that they followed
47:24 what Allah SWT did.
47:25 It's the same in this case.
47:26 They felt afraid
47:27 of what was happening.
47:28 They immediately threw themselves
47:30 and prostrated
47:31 to show their obedience
47:34 to Allah SWT.
47:37 This is a bit of our discussion.
47:39 From Surah Al-Lima Blas,
47:40 we have seen a bit of
47:41 the characteristics of the magic.
47:42 A bit briefly.
47:44 Then, this magic imagined
47:45 and scared the people.
47:46 Then, the action of Prophet Musa
47:48 was led by Wahyu.
47:49 Then, we also see
47:50 how the defeat,
47:51 the falsehood
47:52 caused them to submit
47:53 to Allah SWT.
47:55 We pay attention to the resolution
47:57 that we have learnt today.
47:59 InshaAllah,
48:00 in the verse number 116,
48:02 which is about
48:03 how we are not easily
48:04 overpowered
48:05 by the power and wealth
48:07 that was offered
48:08 to the magic people
48:09 before this.
48:10 In the verse number 118,
48:12 we must always be patient
48:14 and confident.
48:15 Prophet Musa was not easy
48:16 to face tens of thousands
48:17 of people.
48:18 He was very confident
48:19 and he was sure
48:20 that the victory
48:21 would definitely
48:22 be won by the right side.
48:23 In the verse number 170,
48:25 we must prostrate
48:27 and bow down
48:28 to Allah SWT.
48:30 This is our discussion
48:32 for today.
48:33 Hopefully,
48:34 what we have learnt
48:35 today,
48:36 we can practice
48:37 and live in our lives
48:39 to make this
48:41 lesson worthwhile.
48:43 Let us recite the prayer
48:45 that will be guided
48:46 by our Ustaz Tarmizi.
48:48 Please, Ustaz.
48:49 Thank you, Fadhil.
48:50 Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim.

49:58 dengan ni'mat itu
