00:00I just wish the parties that were trying to benefit from the BJP
00:03had the guts to meet the Home Minister in daylight.
00:18All elections are significant. These are the general elections.
00:21We have to send representatives to Parliament to see what's up with these injections.
00:26Elections obviously goes up because they're the first after the momentous betrayal of
00:325th August 2019. They're also the first after the delimitation, so for a number of reasons.
00:42There has been a lot of political discourse about Article 3370 and the restoration of it by the
00:47political parties and political leaders. There has been also silence about it from
00:51the people's side. What have they talked about poor people? They've not been allowed to talk
00:55about anything. Every time they want to speak up, their voices are subdued, they're pressurised
01:01into being silent. So this time they're talking to speak the only way they know how. They're
01:05coming out in large numbers and casting their vote and all, most of these votes will go to
01:10parties that are opposing what the BJP did. Yesterday you saw the visit of Home Minister
01:16how do you perceive that? What is the strange visit? Because officially the BJP has no candidates
01:21in these three seats and clearly he came for a political purpose. That's why he stayed in
01:27Vaisalapuram and met people there. I suspect that the BJP is very rattled by the response that NC has
01:37got, particularly in Agarwala's election and they're trying to now rally their forces for
01:43Baramulla and Anantnath. So you asked your supporters not to pick up the phone call,
01:47what are the reasons? Because they're getting calls from police stations, they're being summoned
01:52and then they're being kept until the end of polling. We saw this in the first phase,
01:56the Srinagar phase, so I don't want them to pick up the phones because if they don't get the call
02:00they won't go to the Dhana. You have been saying that this election is about NC versus Naresh,
02:05how do you see it? That's exactly how I see it.
02:09PDP is taking up the issue, talking about 1987 rigging and all that, how do you see that?
02:16Well, then they need to explain what Mufti Muhammad Syed Sahib was doing in that coalition
02:21and then they need to start talking about all the massacres that took place when Mufti Syed was
02:25Home Minister. I have no problem, we will answer for 1987, but they need to answer for 1990 and
02:32onwards, all the massacres that Mufti Syed engineered. Also, how do you see the Injina
02:38Rasheed contesting from Dharam Lataan? Another one to join the gang is a contestant,
02:47they're trying an emotional campaign, they're talking about one prisoner, one person's liberty,
02:54the National Conference is talking about thousands of people's liberty, that's what differentiates
02:58us. They're not even talking about Yaseen Malik and Shabbir Shah, I would have hoped that if
03:04nothing else they would talk about people like Asian Ravi, Yaseen Malik, Shabbir Shah, but they
03:09have a single-point agenda to talk about only one person. National Conference is talking for
03:14all those thousands of youngsters who have been entertained after 2019. A number of the BJP
03:21leaders are asking to vote for and not for NCP and the Congress, how do you see it?
03:29The BJP is free to ask for votes whoever they want, I just wish the parties that were trying
03:34to benefit from the BJP had the guts to meet the Home Minister in daylight rather than at
03:40the midnight hour. We all know that Srinagar is a very small place, we all know somebody or the
03:47other who works in that five-star hotel where the Home Minister was staying, we know who came
03:51at midnight and who met him, so I wish these parties had the guts to at least admit that
03:57they're trying to benefit from the BJP. My last question is they are accusing these political
04:01parties, both NCP and the PDP are being dynasties, how do you see it? Do the voters have a problem
04:08with it? If the voters don't have a problem with it, I really couldn't care less what the BJP says.
