Dinagsa ang Bangko Sentral ng mga umasa sa pekeng pangako na may pera itong dapat ipamigay. Ayon sa nagpakilalang lider ng grupo, pantapat ito sa ipinapatagong ginto sa BSP, bagay na hindi totoo. Matagal nang itinatanggi ng Bangko Sentral na may ganyan. At muling nitong iginiit na hindi ito direktang namimigay ng pera sa taumbayan.
