Transcript
00:00Oh, famous person in Liverpool, Craig Charles, Red Dwarf, he's from Cali Farm, small lad,
00:14he was a good footballer.
00:15Mostly at the Empire Theatre, Holyo Cast and everything, it's just like, the girl who murdered
00:21someone was like, oh my god, it's the girl who murdered the girl of the poison!
00:25Frankie Vaughan, this wasn't around Liverpool, it was down here, Cast Iron Show, many years
00:32ago, nice man, really nice man, take time out to talk to you, in Liverpool, I try to
00:40keep out the rain, don't bother people like, you know, but...
00:43And I said to him, I like Craigy lad, I said, you don't look an hour's in a day, do you?
00:51He went, couldn't use television and all that, and he went, I said, Stevie Young from
00:59Cali Farm, I play football with you mates, you're in Red Dwarf.
01:03Bands and singers from Liverpool have had number one hits in every decade since the
01:08UK music charts were launched, meaning there's more than a fair few famous faces who hail
01:14from the city.
01:15In fact, Liverpool has a staggering roll call of trailblazing entertainers, musicians, sports
01:20people, writers, poets, artists and comedians.
01:24Comic-Con Liverpool is one of Europe's largest pop culture conventions, the main attraction
01:29every year is of course, the star guests.
01:32I think with Comic-Con, it's like a treat, but like, you see a celebrity now on the street,
01:37it's just like, it's rare, but like, with the Comic-Con kind of experience, you get
01:41more out of it, especially like the classics when you get from the 90s and all that.
01:45It'd be annoying for them, going, oh, I remember this and I remember that, and they'd probably
01:49say the same thing over and over and over again, so no, I'd just leave them alone.
01:53Yeah, I would love to go to Comic-Con, especially if the tickets weren't that expensive.
