Miami is not finished in the Transfer Portal
The Miami Hurricanes are still working to make additions through the transfer portal. Can the Hurricanes close on players like Michigan State defensive tackle Simeon Barrow?

00:35and I figured they'd mostly be about defensive tackles, and I was correct on that.
00:40We get one from Parkland Dan, who says,
00:43It's all defensive line, Dono. Can we get the DT from Michigan State and the DN from Tennessee?
00:49Is Moten ready to be in the too deep at defensive tackle,
00:52or will we need to line up defensive ends in the middle on a regular basis, he says.
00:58All right. Well, Simeon Barrow is the defensive tackle for Michigan State.
01:02Let me start with him because he's been a huge topic.
01:05It appears that his final three, maybe a dark horse could sneak into the finals,
01:10but it appears to be between the three schools that he has visited.
01:14And those are Miami, LSU and Mizzou.
01:18And Simeon Barrow plans to make a decision by Sunday at the latest.
01:24Like he's going to make a decision this weekend, maybe if he decides not to take another visit somewhere,
01:29which I think is the way this is trending.
01:31He could decide a little bit sooner, but I think at the very latest by Sunday,
01:35we're going to know when Barrow, where Barrow ends up.
01:38I do hear a lot of positivity from the Miami point of view.
01:42And an important distinction here is,
01:44not only am I hearing positivity from a Miami side on being in pretty good shape with Barrow,
01:51you also hear some people who cover their rival teams who are looking at Miami
01:56potentially being the team to beat here.
01:58And that's usually a good sign when you have both of those factors,
02:02because I only, folks, when I'm looking at where Miami stands with a recruit
02:06or with a transfer portal player, I not only look to the Miami point of view,
02:10I also look to the point of views of others.
02:12And that usually gives you a more complete picture.
02:15Like I don't strictly go the Homer route when I'm researching players and all that.
