Political activist Muhammad Azri Wan Deris, better known as Papagomo, has been detained for allegedly insulting His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia.

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain said the arrest was made by Bukit Aman CID's Special Investigation Unit on Tuesday (April 30).

00:30police report lodged by a 41-year-old trader who saw the video on social media.
00:35Razardin said they would make a remand application for Papa Gomo and he will be investigated
00:40under Section 4, Subsection 1 of the Sedition Act and Section 233 of the Communications
00:45and Multimedia Act.
