00:00All right, everyone, welcome back into another live edition of the Patriots beat podcast
00:06here on the CLNS Media Network presented by our wonderful friends over at prize picks.
00:12It is Brian Hines back with Alex Barth as always for our last and final mock draft in
00:19our last and final show here before the first round of the NFL draft on Thursday. We're
00:24almost there. We're oh so close to this to being over with. We are in the full like final
00:32push like rumors are flying all over the place. All these, you know, different scenarios and
00:38names are getting thrown out in the rumor mill and draft world. So we are here again.
00:43Our last mock draft. This is six point. Oh, we're going to do it as we are. Elliott Wolf
00:49is where Gerard Mayo. We're going to try to do it, be in their shoes and what they would
00:54do. Maybe some trades they they would do. So that's kind of no wheel for this one.
00:59Unfortunately, no, this one's going to be try to be as realistic as possible and try
01:03to hit on as many picks as possible. So I guess the we can pull it up. And I guess the
01:11big rumor that is, you know, going around with that will be in focus until they're up
01:16on the clock Thursday night is are they going to stick and pick at three or are they going
01:21to trade down? Those teams want to come up, get a quarterback. Minnesota, obviously the
01:26big one, the Giants, maybe at six, even, you know, Denver starting to get floated out there,
01:32Vegas. So that seems to be the first piece of that puzzle they're going to have to answer.
01:37So I don't know, as we sit here at number three, Jade and Daniel's wet number two, which
01:42it still seems like it's trending in that direction. What are your what are your thoughts
01:46there on this? This potential trade down talk?
01:49I mean, there's a report today from MassLive, which was the offers the Patriots have received
01:53so far, quote, laughable. And I think that's kind of the case. I think they're going to
01:58be asking for more than what the Niners got back in twenty twenty one. Part of that is
02:04I just think, why not? Right. Back then, the Dolphins didn't need a quarterback. They'd
02:09just taken to a you need a quarterback. So it's not simply just moving down. You need
02:13to be convinced to move down. The other thing is, I still think their plan is to come out
02:17with a quarterback. Top, you know, with their top pick. So let's say you move down to like
02:2211 with Minnesota. Which right now sounds like the most likely trade partner, I don't
02:27think the Giants are going to be quarterback team. Ultimately, I haven't just given Daniel
02:31Jones that contract. That's such a tough sell to ownership. They're more like a Spencer
02:35Rattler team to me. Yeah. So if you go down to 11. You might have to move back up. Maybe
02:44you're sitting there at 11 and suddenly you hear the Jets are taking calls at 10. You
02:47screwed him out of a tackle last year. They're now trying to screw you out of a quarterback.
02:50So do you have to move back up to seven, eight, nine? And if you do, you're going to give
02:55up some of what you just got for the trade down and you don't want to move down and then
03:02give up everything you got moving down to move back up and essentially end up short
03:05changing yourself. So I think for the Patriots, they're asking for probably the equivalent
03:11of the third pick and the seventh or eighth pick in terms of value, which is a lot and
03:15a deal probably won't get done, but I have no problem with that.
03:18They should be blown away if they're going to trade out of this spot, needing a quarterback,
03:22all of that. I still think the easiest answer is the right answer. I still think it's, it's
03:26stick and take Drake may all the way. I still think that's the case. I just don't, I buy
03:31that they're open to trading down. I just don't think they're going to get the offer
03:36it would take for them to do it. What do you think that offer has to look like?
03:42Is it 11, 23, a future first, and then maybe they throw in like 11, 20, 11, 23,
03:49I don't think Minnesota is parting ways with players. I wouldn't expect them to. It's counterproductive
03:55to do that. You're giving up all this because you believe you're in a window where you can
03:59compete right now. I think it's four firsts. You look at what that trade was with the Niners
04:06in 2021, the dolphins and the Niners. It was the current first to future first and the future
04:11third. To me, the current first essentially replaces that future third. Maybe you throw
04:15one 37, one 80 back their way. To me, it's both first this year, first next year, first year
04:22after that. Because if I have to go move back up to get my quarterback, it's probably going to
04:27cost me one of those firsts. And I'm not moving down from three without ending up net up three
04:34minimum. And I don't want to trade 11 and 23 to move back up. That's shortchanging.
04:42I want four firsts. Yeah. Yeah. I'm with you. You got to be blown away there to make that offer.
04:50But what do you think? Do you think that the fact that they're saying, as Jason says here,
04:55is it smart to just see what's out there and not be tunnel vision? Do you think that the
04:59fact that there are these reports that they are open to trading down maybe says that they're not
05:04completely sold on one of these quarterbacks? Or do you think this is just them doing kind of
05:08the smart thing, doing their due diligence, just seeing if maybe that Godfather type of
05:12offer comes where you get maybe Christian Dara saw as a left tackle and three first round picks
05:17like they're just kind of being smart and keeping all their options open to them here with all
05:22these reports and rumors about a trade down. Look, you might as well see what's out there.
05:25I have no problem with them seeing what's out there. Everybody has a price, right?
05:29Someone's going to come along, give you five first, and you find out later you missed the
05:32call because you were just so dead set. Take the calls. I never don't answer the phone.
05:38Yeah.
05:39Never don't answer the phone and see what you can get. But again, I think at the end of the day,
05:44I just don't think they have their number. And again, the mass live report right now is that
05:49the offers were laughable. You look at reports out of Minnesota, out of Denver is another team
05:54that they're both reportedly being aggressive. Now the Vikings, unless they want to include
05:58certain can't be very aggressive because they just are not the Vikings. The Broncos can't be
06:03very aggressive because they just gave up all their picks for quarterback a year and a half ago.
06:06But I, I just, I don't think they're going to get the offer. I don't think they're going to
06:13get the offer they want. I don't think anybody's going to, I just don't think it's going to happen.
06:18Yep. Yep. So I think, you know, I'll believe it when I see it, if they trade out, I think
06:24they're going to stick and pick at three, uh, as this board shapes out right now,
06:28that would leave us Drake may. It seems like there's still tons of smoke with Jane Daniels.
06:34Looks like he's going to be the pick for Washington. I'm still like, not a good point
06:39here. I'm not completely buying it still that, uh, Daniels is just like locked into Washington,
06:44to Washington there. But that's what seems to be headed. I am. I was going to pull this up.
06:50If so many teams are desperate to try to get up and get Drake may, if you have every team
06:54offering you three plus first to come up and get them, it's probably a good, what are they
07:00seeing that you're not? And like, at what point are you like, if the entire league thinks this
07:04guy's this good, maybe it's just that good. And we should take them. That's a great point. Yeah.
07:09Um, I still think Daniel's locked in a second. I still think he is. I there's,
07:14there was too much smoke for too long. And I know that some of it's been pushed back on
07:18recently. I think that was more trying to undo what had already been said. If that makes sense,
07:26like I just, I still think he's going second. Yeah. I think that's definitely where it's
07:31trending right now. And yeah, probably more so than like even bigger than, than trending.
07:37That seems to be the pick, but, uh, yeah, I'll, I'll just be a little more comfortable when I
07:43hear the name read, uh, on Thursday night there. So yeah, I think this is, if this is how it goes
07:49one, two, uh, I think this is pretty easy. I think it's a, a Drake may pick right here at
07:54number three for the Patriots. All right. Trick me. It is. And then I'll say this. So this is
08:00where we usually pause it and talk about a trade up. I've had stuck in my head that quote from
08:10Elliot Wolf last week, where he said we're a draft and develop team. The more picks we have,
08:15the better. Yep. I think he wants to trade down. I think he wants to accumulate assets
08:21as much as we've thrown around that idea of moving up from 34. I think they're moving down.
08:29And again, this mock is we're trying to get it right. We're just trying to predict as close as
08:35we can with the Patriots we'll do. So I think we let this run to 34. And then I think we moved down.
08:42Frankly, I'm with you unless someone like big falls, that's, that's the one,
08:47unless somebody like bananas, the one guy I'd say is Tyler Guyton. Cause they've met
08:52and he went 20th. All right. So he didn't even come close to falling. So the top of the board
08:58is cool. I mean, cool. And McKinstry is a little interesting. You know, they could use a corner.
09:02Um, I mean, Michael Pennix is still here. It's not going to happen, but sure.
09:09Key on Coleman, we'll get still here in the simulator. There's a lot of noise about like
09:16yet going 33rd to the Panthers. I wonder about that one. I mean, he said it himself on that
09:21podcast. He was on, he said the, uh, Panther said you weren't going to get past, uh, 33.
09:27Well, there's also told CJ Stroud, they're going to draft them. So take that with a grain of salt,
09:33but they also have 39, 30 between 33 and 39. You assume one of those probably will be Xavier. Well,
09:40it's going to be, they need a receiver. So, but the thing is like, we're at 34, so we could steal
09:44them. Yeah. But they, they know that if they know that Patriots likely get, they might just take
09:48them at 33 right now. The Patriots did meet with Troy Franklin. He should be in this conversation
09:54too. But again, I think they're trading down. Let's see who's calling. Do you have a lot in
09:59that conversation? Yeah. I, I don't know that he's the kind of receiver the Patriots are looking for.
10:05I think that's the kind of the kind of guy that already have a bunch of Ellie Wolf talked about
10:08getting that like backside X receiver. Yeah. And, uh, Mike Reese highlighted three guys on
10:15Sunday. I believe it was Coleman Liggett and Franklin were the three guys he wrote about.
10:21Right. So those are the guys I'm looking at. Um, we look, who's calling here has not much of much.
10:29So kind of a far jump down there. Yeah. So I've gone back and, and, and looked at this in terms
10:35of past trades. And I think you're looking at one of two things here. You're probably looking at
10:41something like this. So this is 34 in one 37 for 41 and 88. So this is moving up
10:52for 50 spots, but sliding back seven spots, sliding back seven, moving back into the top
10:59100. So remember that one, the other one I look at, and this is modeled after,
11:07I think it's the Bengals. Um, so we could also, we could also do this with the Bengals. We go 49
11:15and 80. Um, the other trade I look at, and I got to remember where this is Houston.
11:24No, it's not. Where is it? I was doing these the other day. Hang on. Just give me a sec,
11:27please. You've only got, you've only done like 80 mock trades in your article the other day. So
11:32like, there's not that, that many to remember off the, off the top of your head.
11:36Yeah. I don't know why I can't find, there's a team that has, it's not the chargers.
11:40There's a team that's like one 13. Here it is. It's the Jaguars Jaguars. So we get to keep one
11:4837, it's 48, one 14 and one 16. So we move back eight spots, but we add two picks right at the
11:56top of the fourth round and we go bang, bang. We're going to go one Oh three, one 14, one 16.
12:02We can add a ton of talent at the top of the set third round at the top of day three.
12:07But you slide back like an extra seven, five, five to seven spots here in the second round.
12:13Right. And you, you don't have to give up one 37. So if the goal is to accumulate picks,
12:19this is the one, this is the trade. Yeah. Do you want to pull the trigger on this? Or are
12:24you too enamored with that? The Packers or Bengals deal where we move back and then move up.
12:31I like this one. I think that's a good one.
12:33So this is four or 48, one 14 and one 16. Yeah. So for reference, for people who think I'm pulling
12:41this out of nowhere in 2021, there's actually a little bit more favorable, but it's because of
12:47where the picks lie. Um, the Patriots traded up to 38. This was to take Christian bar more
12:54traded up to 38. This was to take Christian bar more and they gave up 46, one 22 and one 39.
13:02So this is a little more favorable because it's 34 instead of 39.
13:07So the other two picks bump up about 10 spots and it's just the way the board lies.
13:13Yeah. And I think people are, uh, very, very upset, but this is the contrary that's been made.
13:20I'm telling you this country has been made in this country. The Patriots are going to look to
13:24make. So we're, we're pulling the trigger on this trade and then we will see who we can get at 48.
13:35So now I think they'll go receiver with their second pick more than tackle,
13:40just based off what Wolf said the other day. Yeah. They seem to, uh, like jukes out there.
13:47I left tackle. So we look at who fell at receiver. So Ricky Pierce. Oh no. Ricky
13:54Pearsall, not Troy. Frankly, Ricky Pearsall was the other one. Mike Reese mentioned as a potential
13:58ex. We got Ricky Pearsall Malachi. I love Ricky Pearsall. I'm just, he's been one of my guys all,
14:05all year. I love him, but, um, could you see him here? Yeah, I could. Uh, he said at the, uh,
14:13combine, he models his game. He's been modeling his game after a Marty Cooper who had some
14:19success with Alex Van Pelt. So, well, let's look at who else is on the board again. I,
14:24Wolf talked a lot about how comfortable they are at tackle. He mentioned some shortcomings
14:27at receiver. So we're going to, you know, go by that, but just, just for the full picture,
14:33Peyton Wilson, Tyler Neuben, still here to Tavian Sanders. The question is who fell a tackle,
14:39uh, a Medici Coleman. I mean, these are guys we can get at 68 Blake Fisher, Patrick Paul.
14:46Yeah. You're looking like if Kingsley, if one of those guys falls, yeah, they didn't, um, not
14:52really TJ Tampa is an interesting player, but man, I think Ricky Pearsall is a great pick here,
14:58Brian. And you look at, this is a run on receiver. You got to capitalize. Keon Coleman went 42nd
15:04Roman Wilson and Jalen Polk went back to back just before us.
15:09I think he uncle, I think, uh, Ricky Pearsall is the pick here.
15:14Yeah. Yeah. I love him. I love him a lot, even more than some of those receivers that just went
15:20that you were talking about. So, uh, I think that's a really good, really good pick there at
15:2448. All right. Ricky Pearsall it is. I think that's the first time we've, uh, drafted him in
15:30one of these, right? I think so. I think it's also the first time we've drafted at 34.
15:35Oh, we, I mean, we would know, but we didn't draft at 34. Nevermind.
15:39All right. So down here at 68,
15:43TJ Tampa is still on the board. This is, we, I don't think we've talked about TJ Tampa at all.
15:47This is a good outside cover corner. So we might have to consider him just because he has no
15:57business being on the board here. Um, that being said, I, we do still need a tackle.
16:04Um, they did meet with Fisher. They, I think they also met with Coleman, right?
16:11Um, I'm not sure I could pull that up quickly.
16:16Okay. But Fisher could be a play a tackle. Um, if we're going to go corner, it's going to be TJ
16:24Tampa and on the tight ends really fell edge rusher. Do we want to go edge rusher? Remember
16:31we're going to have one Oh three, one 14, one 16. So we're going to have plenty of time.
16:36Doesn't look just FYI. It doesn't look like they've met with Coleman. Okay. Um, I did see
16:45or hunt. They met with kind of early Austin Booker's still here. Maybe it's a little early,
16:50Brandon doorless. I think it was there. They met with him too.
16:54I mean, are we even respecting the board with, with TJ? I have done such little research on
17:03TJ Tampa because he makes almost no sense for the Patriots for, he was like, don't some people
17:08have them like late first round option. Yeah. I mean, I'm looking at this, the consensus board
17:13right now has them going 59th. Oh, he's still being mocked in the first round though. Pretty
17:19regularly in the last week. I mean, multiple, I don't know about that.
17:26About them at 68. Yeah. That, that, that feels like a stretch. Yeah.
17:32I mean, yeah, if it happens in real life, I think that's a legitimate thought, but, um,
17:38yeah, I, I Coleman Fisher that they're interested in. I still think like,
17:43even though they like chooks, I think, you know, you still want to walk
17:46out with a tackle and they need depth too. They need backup. Yeah. Yeah. So in,
17:52in Fisher is a true swing tackle. Coleman can play tackle and guard. We want to go Fisher.
18:00Yeah, we could do him just cause they've met with him. They've shown a little more,
18:05little more interest in him in this pre-draft cycle. So you have any strong feelings about
18:09anybody else here at tackle or anywhere, anywhere? No, I'd probably lean one of those two guys.
18:18All right. So we'll take Blake Fisher and let's reset the, uh, actually hang on. So we, we do
18:25have, we can move up. Yeah, we do have all these. So I'm going to take Fisher, but then I'm going
18:30to pause it so we could get up. I'm looking at this. There was a trade in 2021 Niners and Rams
18:3888 for one 17 and one 21. We absolutely have the ammo to make something like that happen.
18:48And I think about like Austin Booker, right? So we want to see how far Austin Booker falls and
18:55maybe move up and try to get him. Try to move up in like the late eighties,
19:00you know, the mid eighties, somewhere in there. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I like that. I like Austin
19:06Booker too. So I mean, you have the one right here. Yeah. You have the one 14 and one 16,
19:12like mine as well as 103 package those and try to kind of get up there a little bit. If you'd
19:17like a guy, if you identify a guy that you like so much, I'm going to see if there's any trades
19:23in this range from last year. Uh, so 80 for 93 and I don't know, we can't do that. That was for
19:31Carson Wentz. We can't do that. The trade value chart for one Oh three and one 14 gets you right
19:39about to like Washington at pick 78 Atlanta, 79 right in that range. You said, okay. And that
19:50was one Oh eight or one Oh three and one 16, uh, one 14, one Oh three and one 14,
19:56same thing though. They're, they're, they're the same value, but so I'm going to slow it down
20:00because maybe if we go to like their early eighties, cause remember they want as many
20:06picks as possible. Yeah. We can do this in net the same number of picks. Right.
20:12So get a later one back. Right. So we're going to take Blake Fisher, right? Yeah.
20:17All right. So let's take Blake Fisher and it slowed down and let's see what edge guys go.
20:21Okay. There goes TJ Tampa. Still no edge guys up. There goes an edge guy. All right. There go a
20:27couple. Um, the Colts won't trade with the Patriots Rams might, uh, the Rams have a bunch
20:34of picks. They're not trading down Steelers might, and they have two picks here kind of bunched up
20:43and they could use more picks. All right. So you used one Oh three and one 14, right?
20:50I see, but they don't have that late seventh. All right. We're gonna try to let it go one more.
20:57Now we're friends with the Browns. Oh, that's a, that's a great point, Brian.
21:03So we're going to try, see, we can get away with one 16 here for 85 and two 43. Yep.
21:15All right. I'm going to bump one 16 up to one 14. There we go. Perfect.
21:21And we moved up to take, I think it's gotta be Austin Booker. So they met with him.
21:26They need edge help. Every single one of their edge rushers is on an expiring contract.
21:34He he's there, you know, they talk about, they want guys who like love football. This is a guy
21:38that in Minnesota waited two years, really didn't play, but kept themselves involved enough to get
21:43to Kansas. Now we're breakout season. I could see them really liking Austin Booker. I don't know how
21:48I know they met with him, so we know where they like them, but I can see him being somebody that's
21:52like maybe a little higher on their board. Yep. Yeah. I'm a fan of, fan of his game, like good
21:58kind of twitchy, good athletic, big frame. You could probably put on some muscle a little bit,
22:03but you don't need them to be insured. You don't need them to be a, a big high snap percentage guy
22:10right away. Cause he's still, you still have Uche. He can kind of be your third, you know,
22:15pure pass rusher in that mix kind of develop a little bit more. And then maybe Uche leaves
22:19and he kind of has that, you know, twitched up body type where you can kind of take that role
22:25next year. So you are betting on a small sample size. I think it's like 500,
22:29five defensive snaps he's played, but I liked the the traits and he was really productive.
22:34The one year this past year in Kansas, when they kind of actually, when he actually got on the
22:40field. So I think it's kind of a good, a good project guy to add there. So somebody brings
22:45up, they met with Xavier Thomas too. He's still on the board. I just think Booker is more,
22:51they're kind of guy. There's more three down potentially or with him. Xavier Thomas is a pure
22:58speed rusher. That's, and he's very good at it, but that's what he, he's going to pin his ears
23:03back, go after the quarterback. He's not setting the edge. He's not playing in coverage. He's not,
23:07you know, he's going to stand up. Why technique sprint after the quarterback. And I just, I feel
23:14like they're probably looking for more nuance from this position. I like Xavier if, so we didn't,
23:20let's say we didn't trade up. I think Xavier Thomas like one Oh three or one 14 would make
23:24some sense if he felt, but between him and Booker, I don't know if you, if you feel differently,
23:29Brian, I mean, we can have this debate, but I like Booker better.
23:31Yeah. I like Booker. He's good against the Booker. He had some nice flashes against the run
23:36too. So you mentioned maybe more of a three down player, like maybe like more, you know,
23:41that Uche body type again, but you know, he's a little bit better against the run. He can kind of
23:45slip blocks a little bit better. So, uh, I like him there. Uh, just one other name. What do you
23:51think about, you know, Jalex hunts there? Cause that's another way. And I like him way too early.
23:58He is a pure project player. He's probably playing exclusively special teams until partway into year
24:06two. If not year three, you want to talk about him at one 37, we can start having that conversation.
24:12Certainly at one 80 moving up for him in the third round clip this for me when they do it, but
24:20moving up for him in the third round, unless guys just start flying off the board. Like I don't love
24:26that. So I think it's Austin Booker here. Yeah. I like that. I'm for that. All right.
24:31Austin Booker's the pick. So four picks through three rounds. Let's hear from our friends at
24:36prize picks, and then we'll, uh, we'll reset the board. Prize picks is America's number one. That's

25:41That's download the app today and use code CLNS for a first deposit match up to $100.
25:46So check it out. Prize picks. It's the way to go. Pick more, pick less. It's that easy.
25:56All right. So quick reset of the board here. We'll see our haul so far.
26:01First round, Jaden Daniels goes second to the commanders. So we stick and pick Drake May.
26:08I think even if we get a good offer, I think we're sticking no matter what. We like Drake May there.
26:14So we go quarterback, uh, down to 34. We moved back. Elliot Wolf said they're a draft and
26:19developed team. You want as many draft picks as possible. So we've moved back 14 spots.
26:24We pick up two extra fourth rounders, uh, one 14 and one 16 in that process.
26:31And then we add a wide receiver at 48 in Ricky Pearsall, really good, you know,
26:35athlete route runner, tremendous hands. You can play outside, you can play inside good
26:40add to the room there. Then at 68 in the third round, we addressed the offensive tackle position
26:45and Blake Fisher from Notre Dame. They had him in for a visit. He played on the right side,
26:49opposite of Joe Alts, but, uh, I believe he started at left tackle before Joe Alt came
26:54to Notre Dame. So it's an experience at both sides there. And then we use those extra picks.
26:59We got in the second round trade down and we moved back up and we get Austin Booker there at 85,
27:07a good athletic, young, uh, kind of raw edge rusher, but you add him to the mix with Jude on
27:13and Uche kind of take on that third pass rusher role. And then hopefully, you know, if one of
27:18those guys are both of those guys move on next year, he can kind of blossom into a bigger role
27:22along there at the edge. So quarterback receiver, often to tackle again, those big three needs,
27:27uh, starting early and then, uh, get a good, good edge rusher there.
27:31And Austin Booker to add to the mix. And the other thing we did here,
27:34because this is what these drafts and develop teams do. You look at the trades as a whole,
27:37we turned 34, we turned 34 and one Oh three into 48, one 16 or 48, 85, one 16 and two 43. So we
27:49really turned two picks in four. Um, we moved slightly back to move, uh, uh, twice to move up
27:54significantly twice. Um, and that's where we're at. So let's take a look. I like to start. I'd
28:00be excited. I do too. Honestly. And I, I, people hate these trades. Everybody hates the realistic
28:06trades. Um, we did miss Tavondra sweat. He went with the pick. We traded to the Browns and that
28:11move up, um, interest, some interesting names on the board of wide receiver, Brendan rice
28:18still on the board here. Wide receiver. Uh, we got Braylon Allen on the board at running back.
28:23Remember we're picking at one 16 here, Braylon Allen on the board at running back.
28:28Um, tight end. We can probably wait till one 37. Uh, none of the big 10 guy. Oh,
28:33Theo Johnson. Maybe if we really like him, Chris Abrams drain here is very interesting.
28:39So it was Jarvis Brownlee. Um, any safeties? Yeah. I'm going to pull that up. Let's see.
28:46I saw cam kitchens went Sione Vaki still here. They changed the Utah logo in the simulator.
28:51Sione Vaki would probably be the guy there. I like Tommy Eichenberg. Uh, I don't know how
28:58much they're going to, you know, jump on that, but I think that's pretty much everybody. If we
29:04want to double up a tackle, it's the usual usuals. If we want to go with a guard now,
29:10Zach center, maybe we wait till one 37 for Zach center, Zach center. We probably even talked
29:14enough about Harbaugh. We'll get them. I was going to take them in the first round, but Zach
29:18center is a guard from Michigan multi-year starter. All American was projected to be a top 100 pick,
29:26had a chance to be the top guard in this draft and then broke his leg in two places. I think it was
29:31in the regular season finale. Right. I know it was late in the year. Um, was it, was it the Ohio?
29:36Was it the Ohio state? Yeah. So it was definitely, yeah, it was late in the year. Like a very
29:42traumatic leg injury. Um, so that's obviously held him out of the pre-draft process. He says
29:47he'll be ready for camp, but you don't know with a guy like that, you know, how much power is he
29:52going to have? He is a guard, but he, he's built like a tackle. He projects to have some tackle,
29:57uh, potential as well. Draft and stash guy, certainly candidate, especially if they don't
30:03really believe in Cole strange, which doesn't sound like they do. Um, you play out this year
30:08and then you have Zach center coming in next year, like an extra day to pick. Uh, it's probably a
30:13little early if it's me here, uh, and defensive tackles, I guess we can look, although it's
30:18Andre sweats gone. He's really the only one to, I like Dwayne Carter. Dwayne Carter is not a bad
30:22player, but I tell me if you want me to add anybody else, Brian, I think we are between
30:30Brendan rice, Chris Abrams, drain and Jarvis Brantley here. Yeah. I'd say that's fair.
30:37Um, any preference? I'd probably be between, I like Chris Abrams drain, probably between him
30:47and Brendan rice out of those three. How, how redundant do you think Brendan rice is though?
30:52As I think through this, yeah. He's definitely a bigger body and like, he's, I feel like Brendan
31:02rice is like a strict X for pierce. All you can, he can play both inside and outside. Uh, my thing
31:08would just be like, is that too many bodies? And is that too many snaps at that might be,
31:13especially if they can't get rid of Juju. Yeah. Like that's that, like you don't have, like,
31:19he's a different body type. Cause he's that pure X for piercings, like inside, outside, but, uh,
31:25that might just be too many bodies and too many snaps to kind of go around. If you add another
31:30guy here in the, here in the fourth round, how do you feel about it? Abrams train versus Jarvis
31:34Brownlee? Uh, I think I like, I like Chris Abrams strain a little bit more. And I think they,
31:42did they meet with Brownlee? Cause they met with drain, right? I don't know if they met with
31:45Brownlee. He, he had a really good senior bowl. That's what six hours. I think he's probably
31:50cause Abrams trains, the converted receiver. Yeah. Brownlee is probably more ready to play right now,
31:56but Abrams trains a little bit bigger, um, a little bit more of an athlete might have a little
32:00bit of a higher ceiling planking. We got a six foot. There was a, there was a meeting with drain.
32:07They met with him at the Missouri pro day. They did not meet with Brownlee. So, so Chris Abrams
32:14train. Yeah. I'm I'm for that. I like him inside out versatility. You know, you can kind of just
32:19keep mixing and matching all those secondary guys around. Do you think he can take over Jonathan
32:23Jones's role? Cause Jonathan Jones in a contract year, like long-term not this year, but long-term
32:28I could see that. Yeah. Well there's versatility. I think that's the corner they're going to look
32:31for. All right. Chris Abrams train, Missouri one 16, uh, put them on the board. I like it.
32:39I like it. Oh, maybe we get a chance to draft Charles Brownlee too. Here. It doesn't have to
32:45fall that much further. Ah, one pick before us. All right. Um, do we want to look running back?
32:55Uh, the board's really kind of falling off here at running back. Did Zinter go the guy we were
33:00just talking about? Uh, Zinter is still, I don't think I saw him go. Zinter is still on the board.
33:06We probably have to take him here if we want him. Theo Johnson's still hanging around.
33:11We want to go tight. I don't think tight ends that major of a need. Hunter Henry signed for
33:15three years. You're talking about approved project, true project player. I know a lot
33:19of people have talked tight end. I'm not that urgent about it. Um, they did just sign, uh,
33:25Mitchell Wilcox. It's a, it's a camp body, but just worth, worth noting there at the tight end
33:32position, they added someone yesterday, but not much at safety. If we want to double up a tackle,
33:38the usual guys are still here. Um, I want to double up a quarterback. It's Jordan Travis or
33:47Joe Milton. Um, Dwayne Carter's still here. So I, I like Carter. Um, he's kind of that new agey
34:01athletic defensive tackle. I'm trying to pull his size up right now. Um, so I don't think
34:06he's anybody that's going to replace Christian Barmer six to a three Oh two ran a four, nine,
34:12nine 40. Um, like he's, he plays with good motor. He gets upfield. He's not somebody that's
34:22necessarily going to occupy blockers. Like you, I wouldn't call him a nose tackle, but, and he's
34:28definitely got to bulk up, but I guess if so, all of their defensive linemen outside of Keanu white
34:34are in contract years, that position is going to have to be rebuilt. I don't think he's replacing
34:39Barmore. Could he replace, why am I blanking on his name? Uh, no, the guy who hurt his peck. Oh,
34:48uh, equality. Yeah. Like he, to me would be more of like a Daniel equality, uh, replacement.
34:54Yep. Uh, I think that just said I was three time team captain too. So,
35:01Oh, the Patriots are going to love that. Who, um, Oh yeah. Look at this Carter. Yeah. We haven't
35:06talked about him at all. We haven't mocked him. Probably should. Hey, do you, do you feel strongly
35:11about anybody else, Brian? Uh, Carter Zinter and there were no, there were no safeties, right?
35:21Not really. Mustafa's a pure box safety. All Adapo. It's probably early. Yeah. No safeties
35:26went, there was a run. We did just miss. Yes. He only Vaki just went ahead of us. He would
35:31definitely, definitely be in this conversation here. Um, let's see if any safeties listed,
35:37listed a corner. Uh, wow. Cam Hart's still here. Um, no, I mean, if like Jade,
35:44Jalen Simpson was still here, we could talk about him, but he's gone. Um, yeah, no, not really.
35:52Yeah. Yeah. So I'd be between Zinter or, uh, Carter there. Yeah. And in Zinter also has those
35:59like leadership kind of things. Should we throw it to the chat? Yeah, we can do that. You guys
36:06know how this works. Once I say go first five, they get the juicy pick the defensive line then,
36:12or the offensive guard you want. So just a little background again, Zach Zinter,
36:17offensive lineman, all American multi-year starter at Michigan projected top 100 pick
36:23suffered a severe broken leg in the regular season finale. Hasn't taken part in the pre-draft process
36:28expected to return for training camp, mainly a guard with potentially some tackle flexibility
36:33or Dwayne Carter. Who's a rotational attacking defensive tackle, not Christian Barmore's level.
36:40Um, but maybe more, why am I forgetting his name again?
36:44Oh, quality, maybe more like Daniel equality. Um, but multi-team time team captain leader
36:51was a very important player on a very, very, very good Duke defense. So Zach Zinter,
36:57Dwayne Carter, I had to talk to myself on a Carter, but three, two, one go.
37:04Everybody's just going to vote for Harrison Mivas.
37:08Don't even say that. Well, we should have thrown it to the wheel more important.
37:13It's at the wheel. No, it's the wheel knows all. Uh, we got one for Zach Zinter. We got one for
37:17Carter. The Zinter was specifically a pick against Cole strange. Uh, no, here comes Carter, Carter,
37:24Carter. Is that five? One, two, three, four. Nope. And now we've got three for Zinter.
37:29I think you just, I think Zinter just came back. Oh, we need a tiebreaker.
37:36Four for four.
37:38Wow. The suspense is insane.
37:44Carter. There it is. All right. Dwayne Carter. It is. All right. Good pick. Good pick. I would
37:48have voted Carter. I like Zinter. I took Zinter here in my mock draft. I published yesterday on
37:5398, five, the sports hub.com. But, um, I had Carter's good player. Good pick guys. Good.
37:58He couldn't go wrong, but good job. It was a, it was a real nuanced football discussion. I think
38:02there's a real nuanced football discussion. I think we just had it in the trenches. I love that.
38:06Oh, all the Zinter votes just came out. It came in late. We're on the clock. We're on the clock.
38:14We stopped the count. Yeah. All right. Oh, this was a far gap. Yeah. Well, this is a real gap.
38:23They have one 37, one eight. Cause there's like every single comp pick in this draft is in the
38:27fifth round for some reason. Cause there's only like, I think two or three in the third or it's
38:31like five in the fourth. They're all in the fifth. So it creates a big gap here.
38:36All right. We're back on the board. Do you have any appetite, Brian? I'll know he's calling us.
38:40I was going to say, we kind of back to back ish picks again. Do you have any appetite to trade
38:43down? Um, so running back, Correndo's still here. Cody Schrader's still here. Dylan Laube.
38:51If we want to go back that way, um, is tip Raymond still here? He is. Raymond could be a pick here.
38:58We want to double up a tackle. It's getting thin. It's getting real thin a tackle. Um,
39:05did we take a corner already? Yeah, we did. We took seven straight. Yep. Yeah. So we're not
39:10going to take Josh Nunez, same player. Uh, CTs are thinning out. You know, maybe we reached
39:16Dominique Hampton true free safety from Washington, James Williams, a box safety.
39:21They have some connections with another pass rusher. Justin had a bow. He's more of like an
39:28early down edge guy. So he doesn't overlap too much with Austin Booker. Maybe he's that guy.
39:35Do we go linebacker? Do we start dipping into the special teams picks?
39:39Uh, you will. Foshio is probably, this is the, uh, last spot you take him
39:44before you're not respecting the board. What do you think, Brian? Hmm.
39:52There was a name I was just looking at and then I just completely lost it. Oh boy. Um,
40:00geez, what position was that? Oh, it might've been tip Raymond. I do like
40:05tip Raymond and I think he'd be a good addition to the room. They have now
40:09with his blocking ability. Um, I do like Dylan Lobby too. Somebody asked about double dipping
40:16it. Receiver. I mean, we have to work Bob means into this one eventually. Right? I'm good. I'm
40:22good either way. Like I've, I've, I've mocked it. We've mocked him enough. We have, we though we
40:27haven't, this is the first we've talked about it. He's kind of redundant to pierce all too.
40:34Yeah, that's fair. But this is our first draft with him in the simulator. So is it, I thought,
40:40didn't we take Frank crumb last week? Maybe that was when I did with Taylor. Yeah. I don't think we
40:47yeah. Cause we haven't done one in like a week. I think the last one we did was the wheel,
40:51which was, Oh, you're right. Yeah. So no, but Bob's meet Bob means, wasn't it? Cause he,
40:57Oh no, it wasn't. He wasn't. You're right. Maybe we do work from memes and, um, all right. So, um,
41:07yeah, I think we're basically down to allow B or Raymond, right?
41:10Yeah. I like those two. I don't know. Was anyone else sticking out, sticking out to you there?
41:15Um, I mean, I wouldn't hate doubling up a tackle here. It's just freaking nobody. Like we can go
41:21get Frank crumb or dunk. We'll later. Right. So, um, maybe Ebi Ogi, you know, get, we, we got a
41:35pass. Oh, so we want to make three picks in the defensive front. They might like everybody's
41:41everybody's contract. So they might, well, everyone's contract is up on like the whole
41:47roster. It seems like, that's true. Yeah. Um, let's try, let's try. I think we've taken
41:54Raymond a few times. You want to try allow me here? Yeah, we can do that. We haven't taken
41:58maybe play. Some people think he might be a slot receiver. So you add some of that,
42:02that versatility. Yeah. I think we kind of eased off of him when they signed Antonio Gibson, but
42:09yeah. Well, and when they, when they hired an offense coordinator that doesn't use a third
42:13down back. Yeah. But I mean, he'd be a good fit for the, you know, zone run scheme. And if he has
42:19that versatility to kind of play a receiver as well, I think that would be a, that would be an
42:25interesting pick though. So tip Raymond's still here. You like tip Raymond and well, I like,
42:35I like Barnard too. I like, uh, the Arizona kid.
42:40Getting a lot of hype too. Uh, Daniel Jeremiah had him as like his tight end too.
42:45He's not very big though. Oh no, he is. Okay. Nevermind. I think they've, uh, they visited
42:48with him too, I believe so. Yeah, but he's another receiver. Like they need a blocking tight end.
42:56Yeah. That would, that would be more tip. We'll definitely tip and a little more AJ
43:00Barnard too there. Yeah. So I would either go tip or I, I, I think, um,
43:05Ebi Ogi get that edge setting. Yeah. Robbie, he's a big guy, right? Yeah. Six, five, two 92
43:15can play some on the inside. I gotta let you know what they have. Like they have wise
43:22Jennings. They resigned on white. Yeah, that's true. I guess it's a little redundant there.
43:28You want to go tip Raymond? Yeah, we can do that. All right. We'll grab a defensive lineman later.
43:33He's a good fit. We could also very well go offensive line with these last two picks here.
43:39Yeah. Ebi Ogi went to the lions, Tory Taylor, the Packers, Dylan Johnson. Oh,
43:45did we? Oh yeah. We took lobby. So we got two 31 and two 43. Yeah.
43:53Yeah. Wait, Jalen Simpson was on the board that whole time. Oh, cause they haven't listed as a
43:59safety and they haven't listed. All right. That's fine. Whatever. It wasn't going to be easy. It
44:04was not going to be on the board. Joe Milton. Honestly, if Joe Milton falls all the way to
44:07two 31 pick them, pick them at this point, pick them. These are traits picks. Anyway,
44:13he has one of the most singular unique traits in the NFL draft. I'm going to say respecting
44:17the board at this point. So I wouldn't take them, but geez, I don't think he falls as far
44:23because somebody will pick him for his arm. As Bob means there probably Bob means is there. Yes.
44:31Okay. But I think we got to go tackle. Can we get Frank crumb? We can. I think I want
44:36to double up a tackle. We haven't got to take Frank from either. He's new in the simulator.
44:41Yeah. Really good. High upside tackle. Gotta lock him in the weight room for a year before
44:46he's ready. But, but you don't have to play him this year or hopefully you don't have to play.
44:51Right. Exactly. So, uh, yeah, I think those athletic traits are really, uh, appealing.
44:56The mullet is appealing. So, uh, I like that pick for, you know, two 31 here in the seventh round.
45:03And then I honestly don't hate adding another interior offensive lineman here. Cause we did
45:06add center, but we don't know if he's going to be ready. We didn't add center. Oh, we did.
45:10Even more reason. Um, we talked about Andrew rain. I don't know what they met with any of
45:17these guys, CJ Hanson, local guy, very athletic guard lane Robinson. He's got some tackle
45:24flexibility. So they've met with, did they meet with rain? They might've met with rain.
45:31They've met with, uh, I can't say his name, uh, the Florida center Kingsley
45:37at the senior bowl with him. I like him at the senior bowl. They met with CJ Hanson at the shrine
45:42bowl. Um, those are the only names Clark Barrington from Baylor. Yeah. I could go with
45:53two guys, a couple of the local, local pro day guys too, from like BC and URI, but yeah, CJ
45:58Hanson and, uh, Kingsley Guancan from Florida. Uh, those were the two guys that are, you know,
46:05here in two of the bigger names in the interior offensive line there.
46:09Who do you, who do you like? Um, I like either maybe Kingsley cause he's a center. All right.
46:19If that, I don't know. He's got some guard. I want to see how much he played guard last year.
46:23Um, he's only played center. I want a guy to play a little bit of guard.
46:28Hanson's just, I think Hanson's small, right?
46:33Six, six, three Oh five.
46:37And he's strictly guard. Yeah. Strictly right guard.
46:40But it's like, you know, maybe they should, they're trying to Jake Andrews at guard. Maybe
46:44they should get a center. Yeah. I don't know. I I'm, I'm done for kind of either of them there.
46:51Throw it to the chat. Last pick a draft season. We're going to let the chat make it a Kingsley
46:55a Guacan or CJ Hanson for the last pick three, two, one go.
47:01This is going to be one of those ones where you don't get enough votes again.
47:06You can just type in Kingsley too. Yeah. You can just type in Kingsley.
47:10All right. We've got one for Hanson, one for Kingsley, two for Kingsley, three for Kingsley,
47:18three to two in favor of Kingsley. There's one for Hanson.
47:21All right. And the guy who said he can't spell it, I'm guessing his pick.
47:25Oh, I think it's four to four right now. Again. Oh my gosh. Three, four Kingsley. There it is.
47:32All right. A couple more rolling in for Kingsley crown. That was clever. Whoever threw the crown
47:35out. There you go in the chat. Good call. All right. Look at the chat go. Chat's been good
47:41tonight. SEC. It is. Where'd he go? There he is. All right. There it is. That's it.
47:48That's it. Final draft. Bub me. Oh, Bub me into the Texans. Love that.
47:53Love that shit. Oh, right. There's these awards now. What awards did we get?
48:00I should have all of the, I can't believe I don't have the seven day streak. Oh,
48:03cause I don't finish them. You don't have 50 mocks either.
48:07I don't cause I don't finish them. That's the thing. Yeah. You just run through like the first
48:12two rounds, do a trade or whatever. Or I just, I don't wait for it to finish.
48:16Like I just reset it. Yeah. Well, TJ Tampa instead of Blake Fisher, which we actually talked about,
48:23but let's see the board, Brian. Well, maybe if they, if they respected their own board PFF over
48:29there. Right. All right. Well, let's see the hall. We got Drake may at three stick and pick
48:38a quarterback. I think that's how we're all. We've been leaning this way for months. We're going to
48:45stay with that path. Jane Daniels goes to we're picking Drake may at three running that card up
48:52there. A second round. Again, Elliot Wolf said last week, they want as many picks as possible.
48:58They want to draft and develop. So we're going to use our second, most valuable pick 34,
49:03move down 14 spots and pick up two extra fourth rounders there. And then use that a 48th pick.
49:10We pick up for Ricky Pearsall, a wide receiver out of Florida. Again, really good athlete,
49:16really good hands. Go look up his one-handed catch against Charlotte, probably the catch of the year
49:21in college football last year. You can play inside, you can play outside. So a good
49:26add to that wide receiver room. Then in the third round, we stay at 68,
49:31pick our first offensive tackle and Blake Fisher from Notre Dame, someone they met with
49:36throughout the cycle. We saw Scott Peters, the new offensive line coach, working him out
49:40at Notre Dame pro day and they visited him as well. So a lot of interest in Blake Fisher.
49:45So we add him at 68. Then we use those picks or one of those picks that we got earlier in
49:50the trade down to move up. We trade one Oh three and one 14 for 85 and we add two 43.
49:57So it's a two for two swap, but we move up about 20 spots there in the third round. And we add
50:03Austin Booker, another guy they brought into Gillette for a visit. Really inexperienced,
50:07505 defensive snaps, but his one year as a starter in Kansas really burst onto the scene.
50:14First team all conference led the team in sacks, tackles for loss, a really good athlete at that
50:19edge position. So don't need him right away. Again, you can sit, sit him in kind of a rotational role
50:24behind Jude on behind Uche. And then hopefully he kind of blossoms in year two when you need
50:29him on a bigger role. Uh, then to the fourth round, our first defensive back in Chris Abrams
50:36strain, a good athlete, good inside out versatility. Uh, another guy they have,
50:41they've met with. So maybe he can, you know, mix match with John Jones in that secondary,
50:46then he's in a contract year. So maybe you can take over that role. Uh, then round five,
50:51another defensive lineman and Dwayne Carter. First time we've taken Carter in this draft,
50:56three-time captain at Duke, uh, kind of good, good pass rusher. You said he'd kind of met
51:01Daniel quality role. So get him into that mix, uh, in the defensive line there,
51:06uh, to offensive players. Then in round six, we got Dylan lobby or UNH, uh, local guy at the
51:13running back spot. Maybe he can play a little slot receiver though, too. He had tons of catches.
51:17Uh, I think 66, 60 something catches last year for UNH. So good skillset to add to the offense.
51:23And then tip Raymond, a tight end, big body tight end, but can move pretty well, but kind
51:27of just nasty in the run game. So a good skillset, good blocking skillset to add to that room with,
51:33uh, Hunter Henry and Austin Hooper there. Uh, and then we add our end, excuse me,
51:38with two offensive line picks, uh, Frank crumb, the development tackle, you know,
51:43you need to get them in the weight room. Probably doesn't have a big role year one,
51:46but really good athletic profile. I think you ran a sub five 42nd or 40 yard dash at the second
51:54fastest of all linemen. Yeah. So really good athletic profile. Get him in the room. Just
51:58kind of see if you can, you know, hit something there at two 31 in the seventh round with a
52:02development guy. Uh, and then add an interior guy, Kingsley, a Guantan from Florida. Uh, they met
52:08with him at the, uh, senior bowl and, you know, he can play mostly was a center. So if they want
52:13to keep, you know, if Jake Andrews is more of a guard, they see, or however that shakes out,
52:18you add a guy, uh, with some center background into that interior offensive line mix. So that's
52:25the hall, lots of offense, three defenders worked in there in the middle rounds, but
52:33that is mock draft 6.0 right there. I like that. I think that's pretty good,
52:38pretty good hall right there. I'd be pretty happy with that draft.
52:40I feel pretty good about it. I feel pretty good about it. I'm not going to lie. Um, we're
52:44definitely talking tackle at the top of the board next year. Yep. Nothing wrong with that. Like
52:49they were, we've said this the whole way they were not going to emphatically fill all three
52:53major needs this year. It wasn't going to happen. Frankly, if they just get quarterback filled,
52:57we're in great shape and we still may be talking wide receiver at the top of the draft next year
53:01too, but there's a really good draft. And it also sets you up where if Austin Booker pans out,
53:08edge could be a major need next year, but if Austin Booker pans out, all right, that's one
53:11you don't have to worry about. It gives you flexibility for next year. Defensive line could
53:15be a major need Dwayne Carter, right? And sometimes that's what you're doing with those
53:17later picks. I know people may say, well, why are you planning so far ahead when they have so many
53:24immediate needs? The reality is you're probably not filling immediate needs outside of the top
53:29one 50, even outside of the top 100. So if you're drafting players that probably aren't going to be
53:34able to contribute to a year or two or three, anyway, you want to have that window in mind.
53:38So this feels like a very complete draft. This just feels like they checked a lot of different
53:43boxes. Maybe they didn't check outside of quarterback. Maybe they didn't check any one
53:46box. You want them to check emphatically, but, uh, I'd say it's a very productive draft. If
53:52that makes sense, I would call this a very productive draft. Yep. Yeah. I'd be a big fan
53:58of that. Obviously Drake may, I think is a home run at three. I love Ricky Pearsall to
54:03Austin Booker, as you were talking about. So, uh, it hopefully like between may and Pearsall,
54:10you know, you feel two of those big holes and then maybe you get something with Fisher or Frank
54:14crumb, but you know, hopefully you feel two of those and then you can go all in for that third
54:20spot, the third hole you haven't filled at the top of next year's draft. And then maybe one of
54:24those development guys can fill some needs for you as well for now and in the future. So yeah,
54:31I think that is a, that's a good draft. I'd be very happy if we're sitting here
54:35next Monday and that's total hall that they walk away with from. Yeah, absolutely. Nope.
54:41All right. So that is it. That is draft season. I don't know. Do you need to talk any, any quick
54:50Celtics Bruins thoughts that we can get that we can wrap up before we officially wrap up draft
54:55season? Feel good about Celtics. Less good about the Bruins. If Austin Matthews is going to play
55:00like that, I just don't think they can beat the Leafs. Um, but the Celtics should cruise.
55:05Celtics should cruise through the heat. Yeah. They should wrap that up four or five,
55:10unless the heat are injuring all the, all their players. Uh, did you like the rotation?
55:15They're they're rotating. We're rotating. Did you, were you a fan of that goalie wise?
55:20Um, I wasn't until Ty Anderson pointed out that they've essentially been going,
55:24they're alternating games since like mid February and Swayman's numbers. The last
55:30seven games he played back to back or atrocious. So I think it's just, we have to do it. I don't
55:36think all marks why they lost last night. I think the defense group needs to be better,
55:41especially now that they lose a peak. That's a huge blow. But I, I, I, I, I, I, I know I'm
55:50supposed to feel strongly about the goalies one way or the other. I don't it's weird as hell.
55:54They're rotating them, but it's probably the right move too. So they've given me no reason
56:00to doubt it so far. I thought they would, they haven't. Yeah. Yeah. I thought they'd go to
56:04Swayman, but I was rooting for them to go to all Mark. Cause it worked throughout the year and it's
56:09not what you did last year and last year obviously didn't work. So just try it. And uh, yeah, I
56:14thought all Mark, all Mark kept them in that game last night, but they got it. I mean, the breakouts
56:19on the defense were just a mess. Uh, they were really bad in their own zone, really bad at,
56:24uh, the neutral zone. You have to shake. I mean, they're going to have to shake that up with,
56:27with peak out. I hope that, you know, while their spoon gets in there, give them kind of another
56:32kind of nasty guy on that back end. I'd put it even more. I in for, for Shatton Kirk. He's not,
56:37he's not giving you much. So hopefully they can clean that up and just more shots on net to like,
56:43take advantage of that, that leafs defense. They're not good. Samson, obviously like,
56:47I know Montgomery likes kind of quality over quantity, but you know, just it's the leafs
56:51defense and Samson off. They're not, uh, you should be able to take advantage. So you need
56:55more of that top six, more pressure, uh, more high danger, danger shots. Like they're getting
57:01hammered in the high danger slot attempt. So, uh, hopefully they can, uh, correct that for,
57:07for tomorrow night and look a little, look a little better there. But yeah, Celtics should
57:11cruise Bruins. I think we knew it was going to kind of be a competitive series, but
57:15hopefully they can prevail there. So, uh, last thoughts there, or we can wrap this up.
57:21Um, thank you to everybody for hanging out this draft season. It's been a ton of fun as always,
57:27definitely a little bit of a different year. Um, you know, this is kind of, this shows time
57:31just to shine. I guess we're not done yet. Uh, so we'll be back probably Friday.
57:39It, we got to see what happens on Friday. Cause they usually right. Fly the prospect
57:43out host Mitchellette. Um, we'll see what time that happens. Um, but we'll have a show
57:49most likely Friday, if not Saturday morning before the picks start and then, uh, either
57:55Sunday or Monday. So, uh, the, this weekend, you guys know how it is. If you've been watching the
57:59show, it's, it's, we make it up as we go schedules made up, you know, kind of minute by minute. So
58:05we just sort of have to fit into that, but, um, yeah, looking forward to it.
58:10Yep. Yeah. So make sure you follow both of us on Twitter at I am Brian Heinz at reorgs barth

58:23When we're going to pop on here, you can also subscribe to the YouTube channel, turn on your
58:26notification. So, you know, uh, when we go live and what we're pop on, uh, lastly, is it Drake
58:33may before we leave? Yeah, we probably should hammer out a fine. I've been saying Drake may
58:39for like two weeks now. So, uh, here's my hot take. If they do trade down, I think it's panic's
58:44not McCarthy, but I don't think that's going to end up mattering. I think it's going to be me.
58:48Yeah. I think they're going to stick and pick. I'm still hoping Washington. I hope this where
58:54there's smoke, there's fire. And I hope they pick Jane Daniels and then Drake may slides.
58:59I hope they pick JJ McCarthy. Don't even give the Patriots a chance to do something stupid.
59:03Yeah. I'm saying Washington. I hope Washington somebody's going to clip that.
59:07So yeah, I, I hope Drake may is on the clock when they are and I hope, uh, that's the pick. So that,
59:13that's what I'll go with. But, uh, fingers crossed because I could still see, like,
59:18I still could see Adam Peters, you know, throwing a curve ball and going Drake may,
59:23or maybe even JJ McCarthy there. Uh, but we will see. So yeah. Thank you. Uh, of, as always for,
