00:00Coach, thanks so much for joining us, and what a performance from your team tonight.
00:04I think you can go so many different places with this, but what impressed you most about
00:07your team?
00:08Well, first of all, the Brown University Bears, I mean, as an alum, I'm very grateful and
00:14proud to be an alum of that program.
00:15With Mike Daly, the passion of his players, the alumni base, really, really impressive
00:19what they did this year.
00:20And, you know, they gave us everything we could handle in that first half, and then
00:23what you saw in the second half was just sometimes it's an experience, you know, I haven't been
00:27here before, having guys like Connor Schellenberger, Matt Moore, who controlled the ball on offense,
00:31Pete Lasalle getting us so many extra possessions, and boy, that freshman goalie just shut them
00:36down in that second half.
00:38I'm really happy with Cole Kastner and Kate Southstead, too, with getting the gloves and
00:42putting the ball on the ground.
00:43When Brown was trying to get something going in that fourth quarter, we just kept creating
00:46turnovers.
00:47Coach, you obviously had the experience, but let's talk about the newbie, Matt Noon's in
00:50the cage.
00:51To me, I had a couple rough games, you know, and maybe had some of that freshman, you know,
00:56drop off in the back half of the season, but not tonight.
00:59What can you say about his performance?
01:00Yeah, and he knew he had to make a lot of saves, because Brown just keeps shooting.
01:04They play a fast, fun pace, you know.
01:06We did it when we were here, and now Coach Daly's continuing to play even faster, and
01:10so Matt, you've just got to keep making saves, and boy, he stepped up in that second half.
01:14But I'm really impressed with our team middies for taking physical contact.
01:17I mean, you see the bone-jarring contact, the initiation by the Brown middies and our
01:21LSU counter.
01:22That was big boy lacrosse out there.
01:25Well, Coach Tiffany, you mentioned it off the top.
01:27This is a special game for you.
01:29You're a Brown alum.
01:30You coached here for a decade.
01:31I've got two questions for you.
01:32Number one, is the real-life student section as rowdy as those 40 students you had at practice
01:36in Charlottesville this week?
01:38And number two, in all seriousness, how did it feel to be back for the second time since
01:42you took the UVA job?
01:43Yeah, I mean, our 40 fraternity students and friends who heckled us did a really nice job
01:48on Tuesday night recreating us, but it's hard to recreate, you know, 3,500 rabid fans, but
01:52having the UVA faithful behind us, our parents and our alums, that was huge.
01:56That was so much support every time a big play happened, and so really, really grateful
02:01to be a part of the UVA tradition and the success here.
02:04Well, your team is a role model for everyone.
