00:00 First of all, what a great day for lacrosse to have the capital of classic lacrosse tournament
00:08 here at Audi Field, a new venue really for lacrosse and to bring together three games
00:12 and some great teams.
00:16 Feeling like a playoff atmosphere with a neutral site, over 10,000 people, this is great for
00:21 the game of lacrosse.
00:23 There is no question who the number one team in the country is right now.
00:27 John Tillman, his staff, his team proved it from the opening whistle throughout the four
00:32 quarters.
00:33 They got us early.
00:35 Matt Noones made some big saves for us early.
00:37 I was like, okay, hopefully this will, you know, as we sort of catch up to the speed
00:40 of the game and the Maryland intensity with their cutting and their dodging, but they
00:46 never relented obviously.
00:47 And we just couldn't match them shot for shot, ground ball for ground ball.
00:52 And so tremendous effort by the Terrapins and they certainly exposed a lot of things
00:59 we need to work on.
01:00 We talk about often as a team, it's easier to learn from losses and wins, but we've been
01:05 trying to learn from the victories and we have improved, but John Tillman and his crew
01:11 did a fantastic job preparing their men and then they made incredible plays over and over
01:16 and over again.
01:17 And so we got a lot to learn.
