00:00I do think we improved and you know your goal always is to come as close to maxing out as the

00:06as the season goes on and there certainly were stretches of it. Probably this was one of the

00:11newest teams that I've coached you know we didn't have as much experience in the program so to speak

00:18and I think again I think the guys rallied and had some big wins and had some right there and

00:23we were always on that fine line as I said even the good teams are but the the margin of

00:29error for this team was probably a little smaller than most and I think they did a pretty good job

00:36most of the year but it stings right now because you know we got humbled against a team that played

00:41really good basketball but you know if you'd have said after Navy took it to us and then we lost you

00:48know at JMU you know those are all there's not a big deal to say you know what this team's gonna

00:52keep fighting and they're gonna they're gonna find a way to go 12 and 8 in the conference

00:57and get 19 wins and win some tough games there's some positives in that but that's

01:04certainly there's areas where we can keep improving keep getting better and we got to keep adding

01:08pieces so I'm thankful that these guys they were they were a joy to coach they they worked hard

01:14and the fact that Jaden would even say that after I got into him after the game that's pretty good

01:19on his part he's got good composure there because I challenged these guys in the locker room after

01:23but but they they're very one of the best things I can say about them is how happy they are for

01:32each other when a teammate's having success all right that might not mean a lot wins and losses

01:38but that's what's right about this group they really pull for each other and you can just see

01:42it and it's a little different they're so happy when guys are doing well and I like that and

01:47there's certain things that'll last beyond the record and the championships or the not championships

01:52and some of those bonds will and how they treated each other and the way they conducted themselves

01:57were first class so I'm thankful for that and I'm thankful that they did improve

02:01and they they competed pretty hard every time out and maybe tonight wasn't that as much but

02:06we'll keep going.
