00:03I felt good to just be out there and going live.

00:16you're coming off a win than you're coming off a loss.
00:18So there's tons of things to fix.
00:20Coach Elliott just kinda talked about, just form a mature enough team and
00:26learn those things even after a win to continue to get better.
00:30But yeah, it was fun, good football, I'm finally gonna be back.
00:35But how big is it to be 1-0?
00:37It's huge, I mean- Even with everything that you have to do.
00:40I mean, that's your goal, you're either 0-1, 1-0, or 1-0.
00:44It's a huge deal to go 1-0, it's the whole point of playing, you gotta win.
00:47So yeah, that's exactly what we expected to do.
00:50We came out here, we got to get the win, in any shape or form, and we did that.

01:02Seeing him have the success he did today, what does that mean to you as a teammate?
01:07Yeah, as a teammate, and seeing PJ, all the off-season workouts, and
01:11just knowing what he's done, and I'm with him in every off-season workout.
01:16Quarterbacks and running backs are always together, just mostly the stuff.

01:22Just seeing him finally get to get out there, play, and
01:25with our style of offense now, get the ball in his hands a little bit more.

01:31We told him when we got to the fourth quarter, in the O-line, it was PJ's like,
01:35hey, this is gonna be one off you.
01:37So let's just figure this thing out and start getting some good plays up in front.

01:41I'm just super proud of him, though.
01:42I mean, that's just the bottom line.
01:43You just feel, you're happy when you see someone like that work so
01:46hard to get this team to play like that.
01:48What does it look like for you guys?
01:49Seeing a winner on that CD run, get your head in the game, what does it look like?
01:54Six man box, backer, we were running to the right.
01:58The back side backer overflowed, just pulled it, replaced it, and took off.
02:01It was a super easy read for me.
02:04It was just kind of, you play a little bit of flow.
02:06You kind of feel the deep mentality flow to where to run.
02:09That's just kind of what I did, yeah, that's what it was, it was a play.
02:14What's it like seeing this offense be able to churn out those yards on the ground?
02:17Yeah, no, it's nice.
02:18Just we're churning and churning.
02:20Every play's not gonna be a gashy run, but those runs over and
02:24over again can wear on a team.
02:25You guys saw we were down the goal line, we were five straight runs in a row.
02:30That was just the kind of message we wanted to send, the kind of attitude
02:32Coach Elliott and Coach Kitchin wanted to put on our offensive line and
02:37our running backs, and just see how the defense are gonna respond.
02:40But no, it's nice to be able to run the ball, it helps me a little bit.
02:44Finally get to get out there and
02:45just feel the offense, how it flows throughout the game, and different play
02:48calls, so like I said, we got a lot to work for, but it was fun to be back out.
