Tony Elliott said he "should've kept my foot on the gas" before halftime against Richmond.

00:00Coach, looking back now on Saturday, how would you evaluate the offensive line?
00:05It seemed like maybe sharper in the first half than the second half.
00:09Yeah, and in fairness to our guys, and this was a lesson that I learned and
00:13the question came up at the press conference.
00:16Sitting there, we had four straight touchdown drives
00:20after the opening drive offensively, we were in a rhythm.
00:23Defense gets a stop, and I'm sitting there like, okay,
00:29Dez, run the ball, if we have a big play, then we'll be aggressive and we'll go attack.
00:33I probably should have just came out attacking and set their mindset going in
00:37a half, cuz as I evaluated the week, Wednesday's practice last week.
00:43Strategically, as coaches, we kind of pulled back a little bit to save their
00:46legs, and we didn't have a great practice.
00:49And then I equated that to kind of the middle eight of the game.
00:53And so it was a learning opportunity for all of us.
00:56I should have put my foot on the gas so
00:58that these guys can come out of the second half and get off to a fast start.
