Millbrook Primary School pupil Lincoln Melling, ten, is the inspiration for a charity challenge, Leap of Love for Lincoln, as three members of staff from his Shevington primary school. Executive headteacher Karen Tomlinson, teaching assistant Andrea Sadler and business manager Jaqui Holborn, are preparing for a sponsored skydive to raise funds for Lincoln and his family as he battles neuroblastoma, an uncommon and highly aggressive cancer for the second time in his life.

00:00 Hello, I'm Karen Tomlinson and I'm the Executive Head Teacher here at Millbrook Primary School
00:06 in Shevington and I would like to introduce you to Team Millbrook. Jackie Holborne over
00:12 there is our Business Manager, Andrea Sadler is one of our Learning Support Assistants
00:20 and here's Lincoln, our pupil. And we together are going to be doing a skydive called A Leap
00:26 of Love for Lincoln from 15,000 feet from an aeroplane which is actually 3 miles and
00:34 it's 120 miles per hour. And Lincoln what do you think about this? It's amazing, it's
00:43 just cool, like jumping out of a plane that high I wouldn't even cope with it, it's just
00:50 too high. I would jump 5 feet out of the air but I'm not 15,000. And are you all excited
01:00 about it? I think we are now, it took us a bit of time to adjust to the idea. A bit anxious
01:05 but we'll be fine. I think together that's the main thing. As a team.
01:09 - Yeah.
