The Sunday Times recently revealed the best places in all regions of the UK - here's what they had to say about our part of the world.

00:39 Here in the South West, we're absolutely spoilt for choice when it comes to great days out,
00:44 with millions of Brits from around the country also seeking to spend time here when they
00:48 can.
00:49 While Sherbourne in Dorset was crowned one of the best places to live, it's also well
00:53 worth a visit for those of us who aren't that far, or even those who have to make a longer
00:57 journey.
00:58 Some of the most honourable mentions this year for the South West region also included
01:01 Cirencester in Gloucestershire, Clevedon in Somerset, Devons, Dartmouth and Exmouth, Formouth
01:06 in Cornwall and Tisbury in Wiltshire.
01:09 But for the first time in a while, Bristol hasn't made the list.
01:12 Controversially, first time ever, Bristol has not made it into the list this year.
01:17 It was overall winner in 2017.
01:20 And you know, I still love it.
01:22 It's still exciting.
01:23 It's still got some of the most creative and interesting people.
01:26 But it's not at its best at the moment.
01:29 The traffic and the transport are really difficult.
01:32 I certainly wouldn't want to live in Bristol if I had to get anywhere that I couldn't walk.
01:38 And you know, the house prices now are, you know, the housing market, especially if you're
01:44 renting is absolutely crazy.
01:46 It's absolutely cutthroat.
01:47 So it just means it doesn't feel maybe quite as welcoming or as easy to live in as it did.
01:54 I'm pretty sure it'll be back in a year or two.
