00:14 The report said that more than 7,100 individuals have been affected by the cyclone,

00:25 Cyclone Jomane struck three regions within Madagascar, namely Sava, Diana and Analanjirofo.
00:33 The majority of fatalities died of drowning and fallen trees,
00:37 while some were washed away by torrential waters.
00:41 According to Madagascar media, the cyclone caused floods that damaged roads and bridges,
00:47 which made traveling from one region to another practically impossible.
