Makobar (Komunitas Pengamen Manahan dan Kota Barat) pada awalnya didirikan oleh Santosa bersama sejumlah pengamen sebagai wadah komunikasi dan mempererat persaudaraan para pengamen jalanan di kawasan Manahan dan Kota Barat, Surakarta, Jawa Tengah. Melalui perjuangan Santosa dan anggota Makobar lainnya selama 21 tahun ini, komunitas Makobar telah semakin berkembang, hingga kemudian dikenal sebagai komunitas yang menghidupkan kegiatan seni dan budaya di Surakarta.
