00:00Indonesian Foreign Affairs Minister Ratno Marsudi and Papua New Guinea Foreign Minister Justin Kacenko
00:08visited Wutung Elementary School in the Papua New Guinea border area.
00:14During their visit, Minister Marsudi emphasized the importance of educational infrastructures for human resources
00:21which is the foundation of society's future.
00:24The school renovation project is an example of Indonesia's commitment to supporting the development of Papua New Guinea.
00:32The two ministers also visited the Skau National Border Post to monitor the development,
00:37economic growth and people living near the border area.
00:42It is also for the first time the two foreign ministers are visiting a joint project
00:49that relates very much to the interests of the people,
00:53that is primary education and more importantly at the border.
01:01And seeing your enthusiasm today strengthened my hope of the very promising future that Indonesia and TNG will have.
01:11Allow me to share three points.
01:14In addition to the grant program from the Indonesian government,
01:18State Electricity Company or PLN had built several electrical infrastructures
01:23as part of the country's electricity export plan in Papua New Guinea.
01:30I therefore hope that the electricity providers of both countries can conclude their discussion very soon
01:39so that the need for electricity can be addressed immediately.
01:44So, ladies and gentlemen, I am filled with hope and optimism
01:49because when I see you, the students, not only do I see a concrete result of our cooperation and friendship,
01:59but I also see future ambassadors of friendship between Indonesia and PLN.
02:08Around 88 utility poles and cables along the border had been built.
02:13Furthermore, this project is imperative to provide electricity in the Wutung area and its surrounding.
02:38Thank you.
