00:00I appreciate the closing of TPA.
00:06Can this waste be made? No, it can't.
00:09Let's do it together.
00:15Jogja is worthy to be Zero Waste.
00:23Do you believe that this pipe is 100% made of waste?
00:28This is the waste that people throw away, and I can produce it.
00:32And this factory doesn't produce waste anymore.
00:49I'm Boy Chandra.
00:51I'm an environmentalist.
00:53I want to contribute to the environment.
00:55But the environment that I take care of is the waste.
01:06The beginning was so simple.
01:09I was sent to Pengeran by God.
01:13In 2000, I went bankrupt.
01:15I came back to Bantul, to Jogja, in Bambang Lipuro.
01:19I didn't have a job there.
01:22But I tried.
01:25How did you become an environmentalist?
01:30I started in 2003.
01:34I wanted to be an entrepreneur.
01:38Or I wanted to be an environmentalist.
01:42The waste is relative to the people.
01:45Where there is a lot of waste.
01:48That's one of the reasons I started.
01:52I want to be an environmentalist.
01:55I want to get rid of the waste from the house.
02:08Many people know that the waste business has a lot of money.
02:15The waste business is a waste.
02:19I have money.
02:21I want to be a waste collector.
02:26I want to work.
02:28I want to be a waste collector.
02:30I collect the money.
02:32After I collect the money, I have 10,000 rupiahs.
02:35I have 20,000 rupiahs.
02:37I have 25,000 rupiahs.
02:39Sometimes, I have more than that.
02:41From an economic point of view,
02:45A business with a capital of one, can become two.
02:50100%.
02:51Or even more.
02:53That's when the capital is small.
02:55The collectors don't see it that way.
02:58What they need, they can eat.
03:01And nature provides.
03:03Nature provides goods that they can sell.
03:09Actually, he is also an environmentalist.
03:12He doesn't realize that he is an environmentalist.
03:19Finding plastic is the right thing to do.
03:23From my point of view, it's the right thing to do.
03:26Compared to using a paper bag.
03:29We use paper bags to cut down trees.
03:33Recycling plastic is the right thing to do.
03:37Because it can be recycled.
03:39It's not that many people say that plastic factories are not good.
03:47The use of plastic is not good.
03:50It's not that it's not good.
03:52It's just that people don't understand it.
03:59How can people understand that plastic can be recycled?
04:04Plastic can be money.
04:10And if we process plastic, we become environmentalists.
04:16We protect nature, but we also get money.
04:25In 2008, I started in Gosari.
04:28And I have one goal.
04:30That is how I can make one product.
04:35It's 100% from waste.
04:38From trash.
04:39One of the types I chose is PVC.
04:44In 2015, I was able to do it.
04:46In 2015.
04:48So from 2008 to 2015, I was able to make a product.
04:55It's called a factory.
04:56It's a pipe factory.
04:58The pipe factory can also be accepted by the community.
05:02We can also be accepted in the market.
05:04And for the strength of everything, we are brave enough to enter the general market.
05:14And we use 100% of the waste from the trash.
05:18And without using the original PVC material.
05:27We are now at the factory.
05:29We make 100% of the waste from the PVC material.
05:37This is how we process it.
05:40If you want to see, these are the items that we destroy.
05:45The ones that we choose.
05:47And then we grind it.
05:51We destroy it.
06:00We destroy it like this.
06:02So that it can be processed.
06:04And then we can make a pipe.
06:09I created an institution.
06:13I named it Guosari Training Center.
06:19What is Guosari Training Center for?
06:21To share my knowledge.
06:24To share how to process waste.
06:30My name is Nenny Widuri Lestari.
06:32At first, I joined the JPSM community.
06:36Jajaring Kelola Sampah Mandiri Kabupaten Bahantur.
06:39And at that time, I joined the FUI.
06:44The International Upcycle Festival.
06:47With Pak Boy and his friends.
06:50There, I met Pak Boy Chandra.
06:54The FUI was supposed to be held in Bantul.
07:00But because of COVID-19, it didn't happen.
07:03Pak Boy offered me a land that already has a machine.
07:09In Taman Tirtol.
07:11I was asked to manage the inorganic waste there.
07:19What did you do in Taman Tirtol?
07:21In Taman Tirtol, I moved to Pak Boy's house in Bakalan.
07:27There, I sold plants.
07:31The price of one plant was Rp. 30,000.
07:35It is now planted in GSTC.
07:38I sold it there for the first time.
07:40In Bakalan, I sold plants while waiting for customers.
07:47There, I made a pot from used clothes.
07:51Finally, Pak Boy had an offer.
07:54We were asked to take inorganic and inorganic waste from the hotel.
08:00How long did it take to make the maggot?
08:06It took 18 days.
08:08The egg was laid first.
08:11After a week, it was spread on a cell phone.
08:14After 18 days, it was harvested.
08:16How much does it cost per kilogram?
08:20For one kilogram, it costs Rp. 10,000.
08:25For 30 kilograms, it costs Rp. 8,000.
08:30What do you usually use for the community?
08:34To feed the cattle.
08:36For one kilogram, we use it for fishing.
08:39What kind of waste is this?
08:42Organic waste that has been cooked.
08:46We take it from the house and from the hotel.
