00:04 Located in Kraton Kasepuhan complex,
00:07 there is a mosque that keeps the history of Islamic civilization in Cirebon and West Java.
00:12 Agung Ciptarasa Mosque.
00:14 The place where Mount Jati Sunan, one of the Songon's Wali, spread the Islamic religion.
00:18 This is one of the oldest mosques in Java.
00:24 It is said that Raden Sepat and Sunan Kalijaga are the direct architects of this mosque.
00:30 More than 500 workers were hired to build the mosque,
00:34 which is said to be built in one night.
00:38 Magic!
00:39 Seen from the courtyard on the mosque and mosque walls,
00:43 the architectural style combines the Javanese and Majapahit Hindu style.
00:47 The shape of the mosque building is similar to a Javanese-style Joglo house.
00:50 This is because Cirebon Tembo was also left by the people from Demak, Majapahit and the capital of Cirebon itself.
00:56 This mosque is the Wali Songon's mosque.
01:01 It was built in 1480 and Alhamdulillah,
01:05 one of the Wali Songon's mosques that is still very well preserved is this mosque.
01:09 Almost 90% of the buildings are still original.
01:13 And this building is almost entirely in the cultural heritage.

01:21 There are 9 doors to enter the original mosque building.
01:36 Uniquely, the door is made shorter than the usual door.
01:39 This symbolizes a form of respect or self-restraint or tawadu to enter the mosque.
01:45 The small shape also teaches patience and the culture of queueing.
01:49 The 9 doors are the symbol of the 9 Wali.
01:53 Next to it, the 9 doors are also the symbol of openness.
01:57 The people here were originally Hindu and Buddhist.
02:00 So when this mosque was built, they were allowed to enter.
02:05 Because this is apparently part of the Wali's preaching strategy.
02:12 When we go inside, we can see the mihrab or the place where the imam leads the prayer which is quite unique.
02:17 There is also a mimbar that looks like a chair with a flat carving, especially for the young.
02:22 In Hindu Buddhism, it is a symbol of holiness.
02:26 The mimbar here is shaped like a chair, like a big chair.
02:30 And there is no barrier between jamaah and khatib.
02:33 And it is indeed a mimbar that was required by the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.
02:37 So the virtue of the sunnah is obtained here.
02:39 For Islamic teachings, prayer is a pillar of religion.
02:42 Therefore, the pillar of the 12-storied minbar was built with a height of 17 meters,
02:47 according to the number of rakat of prayer in a day, which is 17 rakat.
02:51 In addition, the number of pillars of construction is 30, the same as the number of juz in the Qur'an.
02:56 So the message is that, don't just pray 5 times a day, don't forget to read the Qur'an 30 juz a day if possible.
03:03 Added to that, think of Allah.
03:05 Because the Messenger of Allah said, "The best thing you can do is to have no god but Allah."
03:12 More than just a building, in every corner of the Sang Ciptarasa Mosque,
03:17 there are messages and meanings of Islam taught by the saints who still stand firm today, not disturbed by time.
03:24 And that is the special feature or the magical power of the Sang Ciptarasa Mosque.
