00:44 the Federal Territories Pardons Board over the decision to halve the former Prime Minister's

00:49 jail sentence for his SRC international corruption conviction.

00:55 Former Malaysian Bar President Zainur Zakaria told FMT the motion was passed with an "overwhelming

01:01 Zainur, who submitted the motion for the Bar members' deliberation, claimed that the Pardons

01:06 Board had acted "ultra-virus Article 42 of the Federal Constitution" in slashing Najib's

01:12 12-year jail sentence to six years and reducing the RM210 million fine to RM50 million.

01:20 However, Puat said there was nothing surprising about the motion as the professional body
