00:03 Hello and welcome to What's On in Wigan this week.
00:07 Grab a headset and take part in a walking tour of Wigan Town Centre
00:10 exploring the town's unique musical heritage.
00:13 The walk, which is on Saturday the 9th of March, starts at 11.30am at the Museum
00:18 of Wigan Life on Library Street and will cover approximately three
00:22 kilometres and last around 40 minutes. Get ready for the ultimate at-price ski
00:28 experience in 2024 where the Slopes meet the party bringing you non-stop fun and
00:32 excitement. The first ticketed event at the Feast of
00:35 the Mills is bringing the at-price ski feel with live music,
00:39 complimentary drinks and ski pass on entry.
00:42 The event is 18 plus and takes place from 5pm till 11.30pm on Saturday the 9th of March.

00:53 And Launch North West is hosting its Business Expo in Wigan.
00:57 Businesswomen Nicola Howard and Jo Lee, who are founders of the event, are
01:00 delighted to launch the expo marking their first in-person event in the
01:04 burrow since the Covid pandemic hit four years ago
01:08 and it aims to empower small businesses and budding entrepreneurs.
01:12 The event will take place at the Edge Arena from 10am to 3pm on Tuesday 12th
01:16 of March and you can register for free online.
01:21 And on Saturday why not take part in the Merge Charity Walk,
01:24 a guided walk in and around Haywoodland Park along country style footpaths.
01:30 It costs £10 per adult with all proceeds going to the Merge Chosen Charity
