00:00 Well known that Mark Fletcher is going to miss the entirety of spring.
00:03 You know, I hope he'll be OK early on in the season.
00:06 We'll cross that bridge when we get to it.
00:08 No spring football for him.
00:09 You were also telling me that A.J.
00:12 Allen could miss some time.
00:14 So this who's got to step up with these opportunities in spring football?
00:18 Well, I think it's a golden opportunity for someone like Gervonta Citizen
00:23 who's been on the mend.
00:26 He had a catastrophic injury during his first fall scrimmage.
00:30 The coaches were devastated when that injury happened his freshman year.
00:35 They were expecting him to have a pretty significant role, almost akin
00:40 similar to what Mark Fletcher did last year for Miami
00:44 when Gervonta Citizen was a freshman himself.
00:47 So golden opportunity for him.
00:50 Henry Parrish, I know he's had some issues
00:53 where he gets a little nicked up here and there.
00:55 I've heard he's good to go to start spring.
00:57 A.J. Allen, I know he had some some cleanup work done.
01:01 He was having an issue with his shoulder throughout the season.
01:04 He might miss some time, may come back towards the end of the spring.
01:08 And then really you have a freshman
01:13 coming into the fold there, getting some opportunities
01:17 there to get some great reps early on in his career.
01:20 Chris Wheatley Humphrey from South Broward High School.
01:23 This is a guy that he's put up ridiculous stats throughout his career.
01:28 I mean, he's I think he averaged it was like 12 or 13 yards
01:32 a carry at his high school.
01:34 I know it's not the highest classification he was playing for in in Broward County,
01:38 but he's gone to camps and he's stacked up pretty well with other guys.
01:43 He even has some versatility to let's say hypothetically,
01:47 if running back didn't work for him, he could play some defensive
01:49 back in his future, too.
01:50 Yeah, that's right.
01:52 That's well said.
01:53 And I know, you know, someone that is not on campus for spring,
01:56 but is arriving in the summer.
01:58 What's your projection on Jordan Lyle?
02:01 Because I'll tell you, somebody who's really high on Lyle
02:04 that we had on the show three, four weeks ago is Don Sollinger, legendary
02:08 former Miami running backs coach.
02:10 And he he got a chance to watch a little bit of and meet Lyle
02:14 within the past year, and he is all in.
02:16 What kind of an impact, maybe not year one, do you think he's going to make it?
02:20 Miami?
02:21 I think he could get in the mix his first year, get some carries,
02:25 some touches in some games.
02:27 I mean, they carved out a little bit of a role for A.J.
02:30 Allen even last year, even though it was limited in some cases.
02:33 But I think you could kind of see something similar with Jordan Lyle this year.
02:37 I think he's more physically ready
02:41 than Chris Wheatley Humphrey is, at least coming out of high school.
02:44 I don't know what Wheatley Humphrey looks like now.
02:47 We'll have to see once spring practice starts.
02:51 But with Jordan Lyle, the biggest thing that stands out is contact balance.
02:55 It is very, very, very difficult to bring him down.
03:00 Kind of reminds me in a way, I would say is running gate a bit.
03:05 It reminds me a little of like a Mark Walton, maybe a little
03:09 little more screwed up or yeah, Walton.
