00:00 Well, if you are gearing up to go
00:02 skiing throughout the West,
00:03 we are getting some new snow,
00:05 so we'll start you off West first
00:07 and then work our way East Mammoth
00:09 Mountain one of those spots that
00:10 is set to see some more snow.
00:12 It really doesn't begin though here
00:14 in the Southern Sierra until Monday.
00:16 That's when we're expecting some
00:17 more of that snow to fall and
00:19 through the morning hours there
00:20 could be some heavy snow.
00:21 Ultimately in the Sierra.
00:23 One to two feet farther north
00:25 as you go through Saturday,
00:26 but then we'll be talking about a
00:28 couple of feet here as we get through
00:31 Monday and Tuesday and right through
00:32 Tuesday night actually in some spots.
00:34 Alright, let's take you to Aspen
00:36 because here we do get in on a little
00:38 bit of snow but not nearly as much.
00:40 So if you want a little more blue sky
00:43 skiing good chance to do it here Saturday.
00:45 A little bit cool.
00:46 Actually,
00:46 the real field values start off
00:48 in the single digits,
00:49 but we go up throughout the day
00:51 and it gets a little better for us,
00:53 so I don't think there's too much concern here.
00:55 We'll take you into Blue Knob,
00:57 which is for the eastern portion of our trip,
00:59 which by the way,
01:01 gets the snow not only as we go through
01:03 tonight but a little bit of activity
01:05 through Saturday look at the actual
01:07 the real field values though in the
01:09 single digits it's going to be quite cold,
01:11 so you're going to want to wear those layers.
01:14 As we mentioned,
01:15 it's President's Day weekend,
01:16 a popular time for skiers and
01:17 snowboarders to hit the slopes.
