Where in the country will the weather be best for skiing this week?

00:08 these places. Mammoth might be really
00:09 hard to get to, but if you can get there,
00:12 if you can, does look like some
00:14 decent weather to do that.
00:15 Notice next couple of days we do still
00:17 have some of those snow showers
00:19 continuing Tuesday most prominently,
00:20 so tomorrow that's where our challenges
00:22 will be once we get into Wednesday,
00:24 breaking into some more sunshine.
00:25 So I think it's going to be
00:27 a good chance to get out again.
00:29 The challenge will be getting to mammoth
00:31 because let's face it, a lot of those roads.
00:33 A lot of those passes a big big challenge,
00:35 so that's going to be our bigger story.
00:37 I think for these locations,
00:39 Aspen meanwhile,
00:39 if you can get here shouldn't be too bad,
00:41 but we do have the snow coming down,
00:43 particularly Wednesday.
00:44 This is as a storm system is working
00:46 its way on through the backside of it,
00:48 bringing in some cold air on Wednesday.
00:50 So if you're liking to ski well,
00:52 it's snowing.
00:52 This is your good chance,
00:53 but if you're more into those blue sky days,
00:56 well, maybe take a break and wait
00:58 a little bit longer for it because
00:59 it will be kind of changing a little
01:01 bit as we go through Thursday with
01:03 at least some snow still lingering.
01:05 And then by Friday we'll get
01:06 into a quieter pattern.
01:07 Want to take you east too,
01:09 because let's face it,
01:10 there's some great places to ski
01:12 throughout the East Killington.
01:13 One of my favorite spots,
01:14 the Beast of the East as they call it.
01:17 Plenty of sunshine,
01:18 perfect weather in my mind to do a
01:20 little skiing 'cause temperatures
01:21 are in the 30s, not overly cold.
01:23 For that and snowshoe,
01:24 you might actually want the shorts
01:26 in the T shirt because it's pretty mild.
01:28 We're talking 40s here for some of these
01:31 days if not 50s as we go through Thursday.
