00:00 All right, story number three here.
00:02 Let's work our way out to California.
00:04 You can start to see some signs of change late this week.
00:07 The true changes don't kick into the weekend,
00:09 but hey, at least we're seeing a break up until then.
00:11 - We have about seven days of dryness,
00:13 which is a really important thing
00:14 after the inundation that we had there,
00:16 especially north of LA a week ago.
00:19 But that coast to coast forecast for the weekend is back.
00:22 - Yeah, it's back.
00:23 The heavy rain and the heavy mountain snow.
00:25 We'll also be talking about some wind,
00:26 but also notice here too, toward the Gulf Coast,
00:29 we're gonna be following some wet weather.
00:30 Let's jump back to California here quickly, Jeff,
00:33 to talk about these impacts going from the 17th
00:36 right through the 20th here
00:38 and looking at that renewed flooding possibility.
00:41 - Yeah, it looks like Saturday,
00:42 a lot of the action's gonna be generally Bay Area and North,
00:45 but by Saturday night and Sunday,
00:47 it does move a little farther south.
00:48 And probably by Sunday night, Monday,
00:50 we're looking at LA once again in that storyline
00:52 of heavy rain and mountain snow also into the Sierra.
00:55 - Now we've had quite the soaking here
00:57 and quite a bit of snow too.
00:57 And then we'll go out a little bit in time here
00:59 and take a look into the upcoming weekend
01:01 along Interstate 10, perhaps to the north.
01:03 Something to watch out for
01:05 with some of that wet weather making a return,
01:07 some downpours perhaps.
01:09 Either way, we're gonna be looking at
01:10 just some travel disruptions.
01:11 - All right, we got a lot on our hands here
01:13 in the short term,
01:14 so we're gonna send it back to you, Melissa, right now.
