00:00 As we work our way through the
00:01 eastern US the next couple of days,
00:03 we're going to be talking about
00:05 some heavy rainfall, unfortunately,
00:07 which is going to keep things
00:08 dreary for several locations.
00:10 Among those spots that will have the
00:12 dreary weather places like Boston,
00:13 Boston, Massachusetts,
00:14 the low clouds already out there.
00:16 You're losing some of the
00:17 skyline in those clouds.
00:19 This is courtesy of Boston Main live,
00:21 and what I will say is this view is
00:23 not going to change much into tomorrow
00:25 morning. We're going to keep with the
00:27 low clouds areas of drizzle and
00:29 those areas of drizzle.
00:30 It's just going to be a messy commute,
00:32 unfortunately,
00:33 so you're going to have to deal with
00:35 this low as it works its way up the
00:37 coast heading through the night Monday
00:39 night Tuesday we've got the rain
00:41 here working its way on through.
00:43 So watching that wet weather still
00:44 unfold at this point in time in places
00:47 like New York City, Washington DC,
00:48 and notice farther West.
00:50 We're not quite there yet.
00:51 This is really a coastal low.
00:53 It's defined at least here off
00:54 towards the coast,
00:55 but it is not our only player
00:57 as we head through tomorrow.
00:59 There is a frontal boundary farther
01:01 off towards the West and that's
01:02 going to bring some rain into
01:04 places like Columbus afternoon
01:05 thunderstorms after we make it to
01:07 the lower 70s and 70s in Pittsburgh
01:09 with some showers late.
01:10 But like I said,
01:11 this moisture off towards East will
01:13 keep some of the numbers down elsewhere.
01:15 As it's still mild for March,
01:17 but not quite as warm farther
01:18 off towards the South.
01:20 We've got another low pressure system.
01:21 This is creating some heavy rainfall.
01:23 Jackson, Mississippi.
01:24 Expect more thunderstorms.
01:25 A pretty wet go of things through
01:27 a good chunk of Alabama.
01:28 Will be dealing with that rain again.
01:30 You can watch this coastal low push
01:32 its way northward through the next
01:34 couple of hours but also a lot of
01:36 rain in the South and while we see
01:38 that frontal boundary move East,
01:40 it pushes that low North and then we
01:42 await the next bit of energy on that
01:44 frontal boundary and this slides off
01:46 towards the Northeast as we go into.
01:48 Wednesday morning taking it
01:49 through the midday.
01:50 You can find heavy rainfall for many
01:51 of the big East Coast cities and that
01:53 persist into Wednesday evening so it's
01:55 going to be wet Wednesday into Thursday
01:57 Thursday for the East Coast as the storm moves offshore.
