00:00 A defendant is being tried in the Magistrate's Court today for the murder of his six-month-old daughter last January.

00:11 M. Kessingen was charged with the murder of Tihudesh at the Pertamaan Putra Damai project in Lembah Subang,

00:18 about 11.15pm on the 24th of January.

00:22 No statement was recorded from the accused, who only agreed to the charge being read to the Magistrate, F. Azura Muhammad Saad,

00:30 for the murder case under the jurisdiction of the High Court.

00:34 The charge was made under Section 302 of the Penal Code, which stipulates the death penalty if proven guilty.

00:41 The court set 3 April to re-refer the case.

00:46 The defendant, Nur Khairunissa Nurharun, did not offer any guarantee for the murder case,

00:53 including in the case of an unproven crime, while the accused was not represented by the prosecutor.
