00:00 Ok, then, Leigh, can you just tell me about the Prom Dress and Suits initiative please, and why you were so keen to set it up?
00:06 Yeah, at Building Blocks we like helping people. We have a few initiatives here and we'd noticed over the last prom season a few people had missed out through no fault of their own really.
00:28 Cost of living crisis going up and everything like that. So we decided to put the feelers out there for donations of prom dresses and suits and shoes.
00:38 So hopefully this prom season that comes around we'll be able to help people. It's totally free from us.
00:48 What we would like is to try and help people with the clothes and then obviously when it's finished it will come back to us and then we can reuse it year and year again.
01:02 Hopefully until we get the full use out of the clothes. We've had a few people interested who want to help with make up and hair at a reduced rate.
01:12 We've had a lady contact us about cleaning the clothes as well who wants to do it totally free of charge as well.
01:21 It's been fantastic really since we started. But we would like more dresses and more clothes. If you've got anything really, it would help massively.
01:33 So if people do want to either donate or need help come prom time, what should they do?
01:38 Contact us via Facebook. Our phone numbers are on there, our contact details are on there. Or pop in. Pop in to the centre.
01:50 We can be as discreet as you like. We can do whatever needs to be done. Help you as much as we can.
