00:00 Jordan Lyle, he's on his way to Miami.
00:03 I don't think he's enrolled early, but he's going to be here in the summer.
00:06 And you've had a chance to get to know Jordan Lyle a little bit, coach.
00:10 What do you think?
00:11 >> I got very lucky.
00:12 I got, Walt Frazier and I got put in high school Hall of Fame for
00:17 coaching in Dade County.
00:20 Warren Henry puts on the thing and they honor all the Dade and Broward athletes.
00:26 And I went there the other night, it's about two weeks ago,
00:28 three weeks ago it happened.
00:30 And Jordan Lyle, I didn't know, well, Mr.
00:35 Frazer, the guy that did it, he says, why don't you sit here?
00:39 And I didn't know, I met him once, but I really didn't recognize him.
00:43 And I sat down between him and another guy and I started talking.
00:48 And there were a lot of UM guys there, Robert Bailey was there,
00:52 a bunch of guys from UM were there.
00:54 They got, Dwayne Starks was there,
00:59 and they awarded him something,
01:04 Dwayne's an incredible guy, that's another-
01:08 >> Yeah, Dwayne's a great guy.
01:10 >> But I was sitting next to Lyle and we started coaching.
01:13 He says, aren't you the guy that coached run backs at UM?
01:15 I said, yeah.
01:16 I said, who are you?
01:17 I said, he says, I'm Jordan Lyle.
01:19 I said, you were supposed to go to Ohio State, you're coming to Miami.
01:21 I'm glad you're coming.
01:23 And you talk about a good kid and we just talked a little bit about what was going
01:28 on at Miami and everything and why he wanted to stay and he just has the right
01:33 attitude.
01:35 He says, I wanna earn everything I get, and he sounds like an old time hurricane.
01:40 And I was really enthralled by that,
01:43 cuz kids now are a little bit different, they're all wrapped up in themselves.
01:47 But they really did, and the kid sitting next to him, I don't know who he was.
01:51 I think he might have been a DB or receiver.
01:54 He was a good looking kid, and they all have the right kind of attitude.
01:58 So they're doing something right with recruiting.
02:00 I mean, they're coming in and the kids are,
02:03 they wanna get back to the old style of UM football, it sounded like to me.
