00:00 Now this show of course is a limited series but what have you heard about a
00:03 possible second season?
00:05 Yes please. We'll take it.
00:09 We're all ready.
00:12 In the words of Sergeant Schultz
00:16 I know nothing. We will be very happy I think.
00:21 We had such a great time shooting the first season.
00:24 The second season is a must right? I think
00:27 for all of us, for all of the fans, yeah hopefully maybe one day.
00:31 What's it like reuniting with the cast here tonight at the Emmys?
00:35 It feels lucky you know. It's very possible that you could work with people you don't get along with
00:41 in life and I feel like we just all clicked from day one so
00:45 to be able to kinda step away and then come back and just see each other again
00:49 it's like a nice excuse to hang out.
00:52 It feels like the show is never wrapped.
00:56 That's it. I feel like I always want to see these folks
01:00 always forever more.
01:04 Now the Emmys are celebrating 75 years of TV history tonight.
01:07 All sorts of reunions are happening. For you, is there a show that you watched
01:11 growing up on TV that made you love television?
01:15 Sopranos.
01:17 Sopranos was the biggest one for me. That was the first big TV show that I watched and
01:21 binged it all the way through.
01:25 Monty Python.
01:28 Or Fawlty Towers. Anything with John Cleese.
01:32 For me it was Friends. I was a big Friends fan. Still am a big Friends fan.
01:37 It's still my comfort watch. I feel like it's one of those things I have on in the background
01:41 and even if I'm not fully tuned in, I'm tuned in somehow.
01:47 I didn't watch a lot of television but I consumed a lot of Nickelodeon.
01:53 Sabrina the Teenage Witch. Yeah, when I was a pre-teen growing up in Brazil.
01:58 And I'd have to say The Outcast with Don Murray and Otis Young. It only played for one season
02:04 in 1969 but I really, really loved that show.
02:08 The soundtrack from the show was so well received. I saw so many people in their 2023 Spotify
02:14 wrapped when they were sharing it that the Daisy Jones soundtrack was up there. What
02:18 was that fan response like for you?
02:20 That was incredible.
02:23 Yeah, surreal. It's that thing where I know we all put so much hard work, time, effort
02:29 into making that what it was. But truthfully, the experience of just bonding as a band and
02:39 as a cast through this process trumps even the music.
02:45 You can't do this sort of project without getting on as a band, as a community, as a
02:50 family and Blake and Tony at the forefront of piecing that soundtrack together. It felt
02:59 like a blessing, like a real blessing. I knew nothing about music before this project and
03:04 now I know who the Beatles are.
03:06 And the fact that it stands alone as an album that you could have not watched the show and
03:12 listened to that album. It stands on its own two feet and I think that speaks a lot to
03:16 the people who are working on the music side of this show. It's really cool.
