00:00 What's it like reuniting with the Better Call Saul cast here tonight?
00:03 It's the best. I appreciate the nomination so that we could reunite.
00:06 We're loving it. Of course, it's a little bittersweet for it to be the last hurrah,
00:12 but
00:13 it's amazing to have one more chance to like hang out with each other and celebrate a show that meant the world to us and
00:19 continues to mean the world to us.
00:20 What would it mean to finally win an Emmy for the final season?
00:23 That would be amazing. I think at this point we all feel
00:28 truly feel
00:30 proud of the work we created and
00:32 and Peter Gould, I think
00:34 whether even if I wasn't on the show nailed the final season and the finale and that's a really hard thing to do.
00:39 I was very happy it wasn't on my shoulders to write that but
00:43 man, I guess yeah, I guess I'd be lying if I didn't say like who doesn't want to run up on stage and go
00:49 thanks, thanks, thanks for recognizing our last time out here.
00:53 But I have a feeling we'll feel that way about our show no matter what.
00:58 Now that some time has passed, is there anything that you miss about playing the character that you didn't realize you would miss?
01:04 Oh that I didn't realize? That's a good question. I was gonna say everything that I didn't realize.
01:08 Wow, I think I thought I would miss everything that
01:15 that I do. I was just sounding like someone else though like I still
01:19 I still have not absorbed the lesson that I want to from Kim Wexler, which is how to not feel silences.
01:28 And how to not
01:29 need to make sure everyone in the room is okay.
01:32 And to just be comfortable standing still. I can't do it. Can't do it.
01:37 That's a hard one. I feel like we all struggle with that. I think I think women do
01:42 particularly. Exactly. That's what I was thinking as you were saying it being a woman in entertainment.
01:46 It's especially difficult. If you go back and watch all of the episodes
01:50 she literally will just stand there and let people hang themselves. Not concerned with making it palatable in the room.
01:56 Nope, too bad your problem. It's like I hope I get to do that one day. I don't know.
02:00 And now you have another show that you're working on with Vince Gilligan.
02:04 What can you tell us and tease about it?
02:05 Well similar to the history of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, nothing. We're never allowed to say anything.
02:11 He's already released that it has a sci-fi element.
02:13 More psychological than full space.
02:17 But
02:20 and it's and he wrote it for me, which is hard to say without crying.
02:24 And we will shoot in Albuquerque with a lot of the same crew, which I'm really excited to see.
02:30 And it is it is a role that I've never
02:32 played before. It's extremely unlike anything I've done before.
02:37 What else am I allowed to say? I guess the only other thing I'm allowed to say is that in his genius way
02:45 even when you're reading the scripts, I've read three, every time you think you know like what genre or what story
02:53 this is, he takes a turn. He keeps taking a turn and keeps taking a turn. It's amazing. It's amazing writing.
