00:00 I was so happy to see that Midge and Susie reconciled in the finale because I was getting nervous
00:04 Leading up to the end of the show. I know me too
00:07 How do you feel about how the series ended?
00:10 We just I we've been saying it so much
00:13 I'm sure we're broken records at this point
00:14 But we just feel so lucky that we got to end it and that we knew that the last season was our last season because
00:20 We've all been a part of things that get kind of
00:22 Unceremoniously canceled in the middle of the night and you never get that opportunity to say goodbye
00:26 So we feel really lucky that we got to say goodbye to these characters and then we got to do it all as a family
00:31 I remember at the 2022 Emmys I spoke with you and you had just finished filming the final season here you are now
00:38 How does it feel to celebrate the show tonight and reunite with the cast? It feels amazing
00:42 We just feel so lucky that we've been invited to this party so many times
00:47 We've all been a part of things that we love and are so proud of that never find
00:51 This kind of audience and have this reach so it's I feel like tonight
00:55 Especially since we've had some distance from the end of the show
00:58 We're just here holding hands and happy to be together now that some time has passed
01:03 Is there anything you miss about playing midge that you didn't realize you would miss? I?
01:07 Think I knew that I would miss it but her confidence. I miss being able to play this person who's just so
01:16 unafraid of
01:18 Challenging herself and challenging other people and enough and very curious
01:23 She's kind of insatiably curious and I think one of the things that made the show
01:26 Resonate with so many people over the years is that she leads with a sense of hope and joy
01:32 And we need a little bit more of that in the world right now. So I miss all of that about her, but she lives on
01:38 Coming up, of course, you're going to be in Superman legacy. How are you preparing for that role right now to play Lois Lane?
01:45 Well, I'm stalking some journalist friends of mine
01:48 Just asking some questions about what it's like to be inside a newsroom and working in investigative journalism
01:53 having a lot of great conversations with James and David and
01:58 They're out in Atlanta. They've been out in Atlanta doing some fight training
02:02 I'm begging James to let me get in there and show off these guns, but to no avail yet
02:08 You know when you start filming
02:10 You say no, I'm allowed to say okay. I'm gonna say we start filming in March amazing
02:15 We can't wait to see it. And also I was talking to Anthony Kerrigan earlier here tonight. He's in the movie
02:20 How excited are you to have you know your TV friend?
02:22 Who's also been here for so many years at these award shows now being in Superman legacy as well
02:27 It's so exciting to have been doing this long enough that you run into the same people over and over again
02:31 I've been such a fan of Anthony's for such a long time
02:34 He's incredible on Barry and I have no doubt that he's gonna be equally as amazing
02:39 Where we've got at least a couple moments together in the film and we're really excited about it
