00:00 >> They've referred to you as kind of the quarterback of the future,
00:03 coaching staff and I think maybe even your teammates.
00:05 How do you feel about that?
00:08 >> It's definitely an honor to have all these coaches,
00:12 all my teammates really expect that much of me and to see that potential.
00:17 But at the end of the day, it's always about the team.
00:19 It's always about pretty much next man up.
00:22 So, yep.
00:23 >> Any part of you that you wish you could have played your senior year?
00:29 >> I feel like it's always gonna be a little part of me that's pretty much
00:34 gonna fit that way, but at the end of the day, it's what's best for my career.
00:38 And it's just what's best for me.
00:41 >> Well, give me another scouting report.
00:43 If people are up there watching you, tell us what they're gonna see.
00:46 >> I would say, if you're watching me, I would say pretty much something you're
00:51 gonna see is a QB who loves to stay in the pocket, really loves to throw the ball.
00:55 But if he has to move, he's gonna.
00:58 And I'm definitely the type of person who really loves making plays and
01:02 especially likes getting the ball down the field.
01:04 >> Did you hear the comments that Coach Grubb and
01:07 Coach DeBoer were making about you this season when people asked?
01:11 >> I have not.
01:12 >> They were kind of raving about you.
01:14 >> Yeah, I appreciate that very much.
01:16 Especially, I'd say pretty much all coaches have been really great to me,
01:21 have really believed in me, and it's been amazing.
01:25 >> And just one last thing, just bringing in a senior quarterback,
01:30 Will Rogers, talk to me a little bit about just what goes through your mind
01:36 when they do something like that.
01:38 >> Did you watch the Cotton Bowl last night?
01:42 >> I watched a little bit of it.
01:44 >> Cuz one of your contemporary quarterbacks,
01:47 Keinholz, got shoved into the big picture and had to try and fix it for him.
01:52 And it was hard for him.
01:53 I mean, I feel like it's always gonna be a little bit difficult for
01:57 freshman QBs, especially in such a big game.
02:00 But it's still all props to him.
02:04 He stepped in, I was watching a little bit and he did a pretty good job.
02:10 So yeah, definitely all props to him.
02:13 I wish him the best, so yeah.
