Isaiah Bond reveals Michigan's sign stealing has impacted Alabama's film study
Transcript
00:00 How closely did you follow the whole sign-stealing saga that Michigan was engulfed in all year and how that all transpired?
00:08 Say that one more time?
00:09 How much did you pay attention to the sign-stealing saga that Michigan had to deal with all year and the impact it had on college football and maybe their team?
00:18 The sign-stealing, I heard about it. I really paid too much attention to it. Obviously, that's in the past. The catapult system that they were taking signs from, they made it down anyways for the playoffs because of that.
00:32 Honestly, when we get on the field, they're going to have to play us anyways, so all that sign-stealing is not going to help them.
00:38 Say more about that catapult. What was that?
00:41 It's basically like the app where we record film off or practice and stuff like that. It was like looking at other people's play calls and their hands in the first eight games or something like that.
00:51 We were able to watch film with the team, but personally, we can't watch film because of some reason with Michigan stealing signs, but I'm not really too keen on that.
01:00 Your coaches told you that?
01:02 Yeah, our coaches told us that probably a week ago, right before we were about to come here, getting prepared for Michigan.
01:08 So on your individual tablets that you would normally be watching, right now you guys are not watching film?
01:13 Yeah, we're not allowed to.
01:15 How close is it to?
