00:02 - That's not even the big story.
00:04 The big story right now as we bring in Bill
00:06 is what to make of this whole Michigan Wolverine situation
00:09 with the sign stealing scandal,
00:11 the egregiousness as to what appears to be one person
00:16 who's working for the university,
00:18 potentially even going on the sidelines
00:20 in a uniform of another team.
00:22 We don't even know if that's real or not.
00:23 But on top of it, as we bring in Bill,
00:26 we don't even know if the Big Ten's even gonna rule here.
00:28 It seems like they were like asking Michigan
00:31 to report their own findings first.
00:33 This is sort of an incredible story
00:35 that has so many ranges of outcomes here
00:38 because we just haven't seen this happen
00:39 in college football.
00:40 - Yeah, and the way the Big Ten
00:43 is handling this down the stretch,
00:44 I mean, be ready for anything this afternoon.
00:47 Jim Harbaugh could be suspended.
00:49 Michigan could be slapped on the wrist.
00:51 There's anything and everything in between.
00:53 And I think part of the frustration
00:55 that's gonna amount on both sides,
00:57 whether you want Michigan punished or not,
01:00 is that they seem to have rushed through this investigation.
01:04 They have public pressure certainly influenced,
01:06 social media influenced it.
01:09 And it's gonna lead to a conclusion
01:12 that I think is a little shoddy.
01:14 There's no other way to put it.
01:16 I mean, if they suspend Jim Harbaugh
01:18 when he's on a plane on the way to Penn State,
01:21 how that looks for the Big Ten is disastrous.
01:24 And regardless of what happens on the field,
01:26 I think Michigan at some point should pay something,
01:29 especially if that was Conor Stallions
01:32 on the Central Michigan sideline.
01:33 Don't get me wrong.
01:34 But it needs to be done in a professional way
01:38 that there's no room for error.
01:40 Imagine the lawsuits Michigan can file
01:42 if the Big Ten is wrong.
01:44 - Yeah, and the benefit would really be,
01:49 as Bill said, to take your time on this thing.
01:52 I mean, if Michigan did something wrong, Bill,
01:54 let it hang over them the rest of the college football season
01:57 and in the playoff and then rule after the season.
01:59 But I can't believe that all of a sudden
02:00 they have a decision on this,
02:02 unless maybe the decision is
02:04 is that they did find some egregiousness.
02:06 And then if that is the case,
02:07 boy, we're gonna probably have some sort of suspension.
02:10 I don't think vacation of any wins or anything like that.
02:14 But we could, as you said, see Harbaugh
02:16 maybe even out at Michigan, who knows?
02:18 I don't know, as you said, could be slap on the wrist.
02:20 We don't know.
