00:08 Under Executive Order 51,

00:11 the DIP or Diversity and Inclusion Program was also strengthened

00:16 in implementing laws against discrimination.

00:19 The Interagency Committee on Diversity and Inclusion was also established

00:24 to ensure that the country is following its obligations

00:28 under the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights.

00:32 The Special Committee's goal is to establish mechanisms

00:37 that are against discrimination

00:39 and to give LGBTQIA+ people the opportunity

00:43 to participate in the formation of government policies.
