00:00 Happy Long Christmas weekend to all of us, I'm Benny Son, Estareja.
00:05 The effects of the two weather systems in our country are still continuous.
00:09 The first is the shear line or the line where the cold northeast monsoon and the hot easterly are located.
00:15 That's why we still have clouds and rain here in the eastern part of Luzon.
00:19 While over the rest of Luzon, we still have the effects of the cold northeast monsoon or Amihan.
00:25 And sometimes, strong rains are also accompanied.
00:30 It's good news because we don't expect any storms to enter the Philippine area of responsibility in the coming days.
00:35 And the chance is high that by the end of 2023, we won't have any storms inside the park.
00:42 For today, we still have rainfalls.
00:45 The shear line or the line where the hot and cold air is located is still affected.
00:48 The mainland Cagayan is still affected, followed by Isabela, Aurora, and the northern portion of Quezon.
00:55 Our rains are accompanied by hail and snowfall. That's why we are being careful with possible flooding and landslides.
01:02 We also have expectations of rainfalls in the remaining part of Cagayan Valley and a large part of Cordillera Administrative Region.
01:09 In the dark season, there are moderate to moderate with at times heavy rains.
01:13 Be careful with possible floods and landslides.
01:18 In the Ilocos Region, the rest of Central Luzon, Calabarzon, Mindoro Provinces, Marinduque, Romlon, and Metro Manila,
01:26 there are partly cloudy to cloudy skies because of the northeast monsoon and it is accompanied by sudden storms.
01:33 In the Calayan Islands, the rainfall is reduced due to the low pressure area moving towards Malaysia.
01:41 While in the Palawan and Bicol Region, there are partly cloudy to cloudy skies and isolated rain showers and thunderstorms are accompanied,
01:49 especially in the Camarines Provinces and Catanduanes.
01:52 The temperature for Baguio City is 16 to 21 degrees Celsius, while in Metro Manila, it is 23 to 30 degrees Celsius.
02:00 For our fellowmen in Visayas and Mindanao, fair weather conditions or sunny weather in many places,
02:08 it can reach the morning to afternoon, then it can reach the afternoon to 32 degrees Celsius over many cities in the province,
02:16 while in Buanga City, it is possible to reach 35 degrees Celsius.
02:21 There are also localised thunderstorms, especially in the Eastern Visayas, Caraga Region, Davao Region, and northern part of Panay Island.
02:33 Currently, due to the strong northeast monsoon, we still have gale warning in a large part of Luzon and also in the Eastern Visayas.
02:40 Up to 6 meters or almost 2 floors above the Alon House in Batanes,
02:46 in the Baybayin of Cagayan, other Baguayan Islands, Baybayin of the whole Ilocos Region from Ilocos Norte to Pangasinan,
02:55 in the other side, Isabela, Northern Quezon, Aurora, Calaguas Islands, Northern and Eastern Coast of Catanduanes,

03:08 and we also have gale warning in Rapo-Rapo, Albay, and in Sorsogon and even in Calayan Islands in Palawan.
03:17 In terms of the waves, it is dangerous here due to the high waves of the sea. Most likely, we have sea travel suspensions there,
03:25 especially in the small boats and our fellow fishermen.
03:28 In the coming days, due to the strong northeast monsoon, the chances of gale warning in the Baybayin of Northern Luzon
03:35 and in the Eastern Seaboards of Central and Southern Luzon are high.
03:39 Tomorrow, after Christmas, the shear line will slightly weaken, but the rains will continue in the Northern and Central Luzon.
03:46 Then, when Christmas comes, and on Tuesday, December 26, the shear line will gradually weaken again
03:55 and it will continue to rain in the Eastern sides of Quezon, Bicol Region, plus the Eastern portion of Visayas, and even in the Caraga Region.

04:55 By December 27, it is possible that the shear line will return to its previous state,
05:00 and there will be scattered rain and thunderstorms in most of the neighboring regions.

05:10 the sky will be cloudy and sometimes cloudy,
05:12 and on Christmas and other days, there are high chances of localized thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.
