00:00 Very nervous about this, I don't know why.
00:02 It's like when a policeman goes by
00:03 and you've like just not done anything illegal,
00:05 but you're like.
00:06 [upbeat music]
00:09 Hi, I'm Dove Cameron and I am playing
00:13 Screen Time with Glamour.
00:15 Okay, so my screen time's gonna be really high right now
00:19 because I'm in the studio and I use Rhyme Zone
00:24 and my recording app and voice notes and whatever the.
00:27 Oh dude, it's so bad.
00:29 Nine hours, 53 minutes.
00:31 This past year, like at the top of the year,
00:33 I kinda like hit a wall emotionally and mentally
00:36 and I just been like working since I was like 14 years old
00:40 and I never stopped, I never took a break.
00:41 I just was so work focused and I was actually
00:44 really struggling with my mental health
00:46 and with like stuff I hadn't dealt with
00:48 and so I just like completely dropped off
00:50 the face of the map and my screen time
00:51 was like next to nothing and I've never been happier.
00:54 But yeah, so now it's back up
00:55 'cause I'm in the studio again every day.
00:57 [upbeat music]
00:59 My phone background is Bjork.
01:01 It's this really cute photo of Bjork
01:03 like holding her face with little like space buttons
01:05 and sticking out her tongue.
01:07 Love Bjork.
01:08 I have no idea.
01:10 Maybe Pinterest?
01:12 Yeah, I have like thousands of Pinterest boards.
01:13 That's where I plan on my music videos is Pinterest.
01:17 I also have like loads of recipes.
01:18 I'll plan like big events on Pinterest.
01:20 I think they all have [beep] weird names.
01:25 They all like only make sense to me.
01:27 Let's see.
01:28 Celestial Nest.
01:29 That one is from my apartment.
01:30 Something called The Sauce,
01:32 which is like a bunch of quotes that I like.
01:33 It's the sauce.
01:34 Okay, so my most used app is Messages.
01:39 Second one is Photos and then Notes,
01:42 Camera, RhymeZone.com, Music, Voice Memos,
01:47 and then Waze.
01:49 I guess I lived in LA for [beep] 13 years.
01:52 Can't get anywhere without my [beep] Waze app.
01:54 [laughs]
01:56 So bad.
01:57 Maybe my mom.
02:01 My team, I text my team a lot.
02:03 Like my manager's like my best friend.
02:06 She's like, "Good morning."
02:08 And I'm like, "What do you think about this?"
02:10 We like talk about philosophy and stupid [beep]
02:12 These are all horrendous.
02:16 I mean, I took one in the car on the way over here.
02:19 Let's see if any of them are cute.
02:22 I feel like I used to be so much better at this
02:24 than I am now.
02:25 This is one from the car.
02:26 Listen, there's an art to this.
02:29 And it's taking them all on live.
02:32 [laughs]
02:37 I got so many memes saved on my phone.
02:42 I have literally a whole album
02:43 for just things that make me giggle
02:45 because I get so in my head sometimes
02:48 about stuff that like truly doesn't matter
02:50 that I have to have a folder on my phone
02:52 for things that make me giggle.
02:54 Oh, this is one of my favorites.
02:55 Pitting two female characters against each other
02:57 over a man, the media, sapphics.
03:00 They both dump the guy and date each other.
03:02 I don't know that I really take photos of my food.
03:07 Let's see.
03:08 I mean, this isn't really a meal.
03:11 This is like gross cherry pits that I spit out.
03:15 But I thought it was kind of,
03:17 something kind of gross and weird about that.
03:23 I have a list of synchronicities
03:25 that doesn't make any sense to me now.
03:28 11/11, 555, 323, 444.
03:30 Apparently this was when this was happening.
03:32 2/22 arrival, who knows what that means.
03:34 I read the expiry date of something expiring on 1/15,
03:38 exactly at 1/15,
03:39 and I apparently thought that was really important.
03:42 You are a fever by the kills.
03:47 A classic.
03:48 Such a good one.
03:52 I think I ordered something from Net-a-Porter.
03:56 Like big sneakers.
03:58 I've had the same pair of sneakers for like eight years,
04:01 since I was like doing the Descendants movies.
04:02 And I was like, I gotta get new sneakers.
04:05 Yeah, I ordered Off-White.
04:06 Some Off-White, like platform sneakers.
04:09 It's changed recently.
04:13 I usually use that weird like demon emoji,
04:17 the like scary face with like the sharp teeth.
04:19 It says right now my most used is the kiss emoji,
04:21 which is like a little suspect.
04:22 Like what?
04:24 Apparently the ocean,
04:27 which actually the ocean emoji is my way to mark
04:29 in my notes app a new song I'm writing.
04:30 So I can just like type in the ocean emoji
04:33 and it'll show up.
04:34 And then the knife and the pixie
04:36 and the healing heart and the teddy bear.
04:38 The last playlist I made was called We Are So Back.
04:46 And the next one was called Absolutely Losing My Mind.
04:48 Absolutely Losing My Mind is like the,
04:50 I need to just like boss up literally right now
04:52 in this moment and I need to access like all my magic.
04:55 And it starts with Internet Friends by Knife Party.
04:58 It's just, it's a timeless classic.
05:01 Like that's up there with like New York, New York.
05:03 - What's on the other one?
05:04 - We're So Back.
05:05 That one actually starts with a really heavy song too.
05:07 It's called With a Heavy Heart by Does It Offend You, yeah.
05:09 - How long are these songs are on that playlist?
05:11 - We're So Back?
05:12 150, it's nine hours long.
05:14 Because I also have Michael Buble on here.
05:16 Like who knows what this is?
05:17 I don't know.
05:18 It's like putting like bunch of [beep] in a smoothie
05:22 that doesn't go together.
05:23 But I feel it.
05:25 That's what matters.
05:26 Y'all got me out here learning how to work my [beep] phone.
05:28 This is kind of fun.
05:29 (upbeat music)
