00:00 A lot of you have been complaining to me over the last few days.
00:03 Why are we hitching our wagon to one guy?
00:06 Why aren't we looking elsewhere?
00:07 Miami is looking.
00:08 We can confirm at KJ Jefferson, the Arkansas transfer.
00:13 I still think Miami prefers Cam Ward, as do I.
00:17 But Bruce, I like KJ more than a lot of Miami fans do,
00:22 because I've seen some of the reactions have been very negative at looking at this guy.
00:26 He's six three to 50.
00:28 He's a human wrecking ball.
00:29 And I know he's polarizing among our fans.
00:31 But remember, he was playing on a really, really bad team.
00:35 The only SEC team that Arkansas beat was Florida.
00:38 And that wasn't all on him, guys.
00:39 He was a lot of times he kept them in games they shouldn't have been in.
00:43 So KJ Jefferson last year completed 64 percent of his throws.
00:47 Two thousand one hundred seven yards, 19 touchdown passes, eight interceptions.
00:52 He ran for four hundred forty seven yards, two touchdowns.
00:55 He was Arkansas's leading rusher.
00:58 So there you know, obviously there are some similarities to him and Jacari Brown.
01:02 So that's definitely another thing that Canes fans like.
01:05 We already have him on the roster, but he does have a he's got a lot more experience
01:09 than Jacari Brown, though. Don't forget that.
01:11 Yeah, I think Jacari got some money to play in this game, but that doesn't mean he's staying.
01:15 He could still go and then really be stuck.
01:18 So I don't think he's yeah, this guy Birdstone, he doesn't move the needle.
01:23 He doesn't for me either. I get it.
01:25 But if if we're going to wait and wait and wait for Cam Ward and his father,
01:30 who seems to be controlling everything,
01:32 I still don't believe that the NFL draft for him is a smart move.
01:37 So where does that leave us?
01:39 It leaves us or Florida State.
01:42 Now, they just had DJ, the quarterback from Oregon State, former Clemson quarterback.
01:47 You pronounce his last name. Don't ask me to do it.
01:49 We Yungalalay. I've been practicing for three years.
01:51 So he hasn't said anything either about his Florida State visit.
01:54 So we're both probably waiting.
01:56 I think that Miami is in a better NIL position in Florida State.
02:00 Apparently, a lot of those kids didn't get their money.
