00:00 Let's look at the travel conditions here moving forward,
00:02 and we're going to start by looking at the airports.
00:05 The exclusive AccuWeather US flight cancellation forecast for the next five days.
00:09 Well, we see one that sticks out here.
00:11 It's Monday.
00:11 There's a big storm coming up the coast this weekend, and the big airports like New York and Boston,
00:16 Monday is your day to try to avoid travel if you can.
00:20 And this is what we're talking about, this big rainstorm, which right now is still brewing in the Gulf of Mexico,
00:24 but Sunday into Monday and Monday night, it's going to go up the coast.
00:28 There'll be beach erosion.
00:29 There'll be coastal flooding, not to mention inland flooding.
00:34 Driving anywhere in this area in red here late this weekend, early next week is going to be kind of dangerous.
00:40 Meantime, if you're traveling on Friday, most of the country is good.
00:43 This is the way it looks nationwide.
00:45 We do have our storm going through our nation's midsection.
00:47 There'll be some rain at DFW probably after the morning rush, and we'll also see some persistent rain and wind here on the east coast of Florida once again.
00:55 That's not changing.
00:56 A little bit of snow here north of Minneapolis, but in the Twin Cities, it'll be warm enough for rain,
01:01 and we'll go there now because Bismarck, you've got a few inches of snow in your forecast and also areas of far northern Minnesota.
01:08 But Minneapolis, Omaha and down into Kansas City, we've got rain in your forecast for Friday, so minor delays there.
01:15 Farther south, there's that line of showers and thunderstorms moving through east Texas.
01:20 You'll get it in Dallas late morning and eventually into Houston as well and also into Florida.
01:25 On the east coast of Florida, Jacksonville to Miami, there'll be showers and there'll be persistent wind.
01:30 Wind advisories remain in place, so kind of dangerous for travel there.
01:34 (thunder rumbling)
