00:00Yeah, and he's been in Dallas. He put on quite a performance for us the last time we checked in.
00:04I don't see the yardstick right now, so I think we can imagine Tony as usual,
00:08but once he picks up that yardstick, it changes. You've moved a little bit, Tony, no?
00:15Yeah, I'm trying to find some places to talk about here in terms of like the snow. I will
00:21say this though, you know, they say everything's bigger in Texas, and I'm going to say that is
00:27not the case because the snowstorms are not bigger in Texas. Yes, for Texas, this is a pretty
00:33good snow. I mean, let's be real, this is not usual for you folks in here, but being from Colorado,
00:39I can tell you we do some whoppers of a snowstorm, so not everything is bigger in Texas.
00:43That all said, it's still a little bit of a mess, especially as you get a little bit further north.
00:48Dallas-Fort Worth, that Metroplex in there, dealing with wet roads with slick spots on
00:53the elevated portions of those highways. Coming up a little bit further to the north, I've noticed
00:58the temperature dropping several degrees, a little bit more issue with some of the ice on the roads,
01:02especially those bridges and overpasses, and the shoulders, a lot more slush and snow on the
01:07shoulders, so a little bit more narrow of a space to navigate on the interstates as opposed to what
01:12was going on in the Metroplex. Overnight, it was really a cold rain. That was really the big issue
01:18for us there. Temperatures right around and just above freezing, so a lot of areas that saw snow
01:24early ended up changing over to sleet and rain, and that knocked down those accumulations a little
01:28bit, though still piling up a couple inches in some spots. Again, the further north you got, you
01:33started to see that tally up a little bit there, maybe about four or five inches as you got a
01:38little bit further to the north. I'm in Sanger, Texas right now, so this would be about 20 miles north
01:43of Denton, and more snow coverage here for sure. We start to see a lot more of the snow before,
01:50and yes, I've got the yardstick here, so we're gonna go, and we're gonna go stick it in and see
01:55if we got any deeper accumulations here. Much the same, you push the yardstick in and you get a
02:01little bit of a frozen layer underneath here. Right now, I'm sitting at about four and a half inches,
02:07so not as impressive a total here, but again, I think that's been padded down a little bit
02:12as we've gone through the day. Big game today, we know here in Texas. It's going to be a cold
02:18one for you, and I got up this morning. I was innocently doing what I normally do when I get
02:23up first thing in the morning, wondering why I'm up in the morning, but get on the clothes, not even
02:28thinking about it, and then you guys go and give me a complex to remind me what color I'm wearing,
02:32so I owe an apology to my Ohio friends. This is not on purpose. This is not a choice. Underneath,
02:42I've got the scarlet on. I'm rooting for my hometown team. This was just,
02:47I have to do it. The bosses make me wear this color, but it is not by choice. Maybe you can
02:52unzip just a little bit to show the scarlet off, and then you can be proud.
