00:03 A Derbyshire mom is gifting her terminally ill daughter
00:06 a bucket list of experiences, including zip lining,
00:09 recording a song, and watching a musical
00:11 as she fears it could be her last Christmas.
00:15 Gail Iredale, who is 52, was left distraught
00:18 when her daughter Hannah, 20, was diagnosed
00:21 with glioblastoma, one of the most aggressive types
00:23 of brain tumor in September last year.
00:26 She was given a prognosis of 15 months
00:29 and has undergone a round of chemotherapy
00:30 and radiotherapy in the space of 13 months.
00:34 Doctors are concerned that Hannah's condition
00:36 could deteriorate in the new year,
00:38 so Gail has started a bucket list
00:40 filled with once-in-a-lifetime experiences
00:42 to give Hannah a Christmas to remember.
00:45 Through fundraising like a local Tombola,
00:47 pub quizzes, and a Just Giving page,
00:50 Gail has also managed to raise 250,000 pounds for Hannah
00:54 to hopefully give life-extending treatment in the US.
00:57 For more on this story and how to help
00:59 with the fundraising drive, see the Derbyshire Times website.
01:02 An emotional Danny Webb said it was a dream day
01:06 for Chesterfield FC as they beat Ligue 1
01:09 late in the orient 1-0 in the FA Cup over the weekend.
01:12 The Spyrites have now dumped two Ligue 1 sides
01:15 out of the competition and have a trip
01:17 to championship side Watford to look forward
01:19 in the next round.
01:21 Victory means that the Blues are in the third round
01:23 for the third successive year.
01:25 Webb said, "It shows how much we attack the FA Cup,
01:28 how good we are, and how much it means to the town.
01:31 Hopefully, in a few months, we can look back
01:33 and we will have won the league and had a cup run,
01:36 but the league is the priority
01:37 and there is still a long way to go.
01:39 I don't think the lads will take their foot off the gas,
01:41 but we are in a great position."
