00:03 21 people have been arrested as part of a week-long crackdown on County Lines drug networks in Derbyshire,
00:09 that has also seen 10 vulnerable children and 14 vulnerable adults safeguarded.
00:14 Derbyshire Constabulary joined forces with police from across the country
00:18 with the aim of disrupting the activity of drug dealers and their networks
00:22 which target and exploit the most vulnerable members of society.
00:26 The week also saw a focus on prevention, with officers working to raise awareness of signs that people may see
00:33 if there's exploitation by County Lines gangs.
00:36 Suspected mamba, crack cocaine, heroin, cocaine and cannabis were seized during the week
00:42 and four knives and an imitation firearm were also taken off the streets.
00:47 There was plenty of sporting action in Chesterfield at the weekend.
00:51 Runners hit the streets of the town and Queen's Park as thousands of people took part in the Redbrick Foundation Chesterfield 10k
00:58 as well as the New Zest Chesterfield 5k Challenge and the Vizu 1k Fun Run,
01:03 helping raise money for local causes along the way.
01:06 And there were celebrations for Chesterfield FC fans after their 3-0 victory over Boreham Wood,
01:11 which saw the Spyrites win the National League title and promotion back to the Football League.
